I'm having some cycling issues with my first/new AR 308 build. The casings just dribble out onto the table next to the ejection port and the action does not fully cycle. Sometimes the BCG pulls a fresh round, but it just gets jammed up against the star-chamber. Sometimes it doesn't grab a new round at all. I've read this can be a symptom of both overgassed and undergassed rigs, where the BCG is returning faster than the magazine spring can push a new round up.

A deep dive into the interwebs tells me the Wilson Combat barrels have undersized gas ports and that I'm likely undergassed. I really don't want to drill out the gas port.

I've tried the Sprinco red spring with no change in results.

I'm thinking of trying H2 and H1 buffers next... or a Tubbs flatwire spring... am I headed in the right direction?

I'm on the hunt for a scope to use with a new to me Pre-14 AX in 6.5 creed. It'll be used for hunting, target shooting and my intro into PRS.

On a local board I found a PMII 5-25x56 with P3 reticle. Asked the seller for a price on the scope by itself and he told me to shoot him an offer. Looks to be in very good condition.

My gut reaction is to tell him $2k and roll the dice, but I don't want to look like a turd by not knowing what it's actually worth. I've seen similar scopes with different reticles in the PX but I know that different reticles come with different price tags.

I'm trying to do something similar to the Tracer Tactical post below for a pelican case loadout box. The issue I'm running into is that the shock cord that I'm trying to use (3/16") doesn't fit into most of the cord locks that I've found on Amazon and other places. I tried running a smaller type of shock cord (1/8") that I knew would fit in the cord locks, but it just doesn't seem to want to hold my gear as tightly as I'd like. Any suggestions for a cord lock that will accept 3/16" shock cord or other methods for securing gear to the top panel would be appreciated.

Hello! I recently had a local gunsmith spin me up a barrel for my first full custom build. It appears that the muzzle crown was poorly done with the initial taper not being concentric. Before i spend all the money on components breaking it in and developing a load, i want to know if this will affect to accuracy. I want this to be a half minute or better gun. Hoping to use your guys experience on whether this is a no go and needs redone or if she's good to shoot. Appreciate the help

This may affect PRS matches with sone people too short to reach the barricade. Or too heavy to fit through obstacles
