SOLD Accuracy International AT 2.0 Chassis M700 AICS, IMUNS, Thumbhole Skins

Looking to sell my AICS Chassis. I originally had a Zermatt Origin SA 308 in it, but I'm looking to go back to a more traditional stock. This chassis started out as with Green skins in it's normal pistol grip configuration. I added tan skins as well as the thumbhole grip kit. Skins are overall in good condition, although there are a few scuffs here and there. Skins were properly installed with a wheeler torque wrench to 18 in/lbs.

Here's what I got:
- Accuracy International AT 2.0 Chassis, Remington 700 inlet, Short Action
- Badger Ordnance IMUNs, I believe this is the 20MOA rail version - Very rare afaik
- Anarchy Outdoors Thumb Rest
- Velcro Patch on the right side for a 2-round Holder from Short Action Precision (not included)
- (1) Large stock spacer, (1) Cheek spacer, All of the original AI hardware/screws and plastic inserts
- (2) Original AI Front Block
- (1) Atlas bipod Spigot Mount (Works with the Atlas BT10 V8)
- AI Original Bipod Stud Mount (For Harris Bipods)
- Badger Ordnance Picatinny Rail Section for IMUNs - "ILARK 310-11" (This does not work with AT Chassis, it will need some modification to fit)

Skins:
- Full Pistol Grip TAN set, Stock is modified to work with a monopod, with Thumbhole Kit (currently installed)
- Full Pistol Grip GREEN set

Looking to get $1400 OBO Shipped and Insured for everything. $1000 without the IMUNs. Paypal/Venmo/Zelle
Willing to partial trade for a Tan KRG Bravo with Enclosed ARCA Foreend.

I have some Feedback here, but here are some other accounts if you need additional --

What to do with this stuff??

I’ve got bins full of stuff that should be sentimental. Sports, academic awards, trophies, medals, plaques newspaper articles, photos, videos and a bunch of other crap I’ve been hauling around for over 20 years. At one point, this stuff was cool, but after whacking my shin on an 80lb custom fabricated iron behemoth of me doing a wrestling move I was known for in HS, I’m ready to throw the whole lot of it in a dumpster. It’s feeling like a bunch of excess baggage that doesn’t really matter anymore. Never had kids to show it to, I help coach a few kids at the local HS/ college teams, but this junk isn’t actually helping anyone. What do you guys do with stuff like this?

question to see general thoughts on this

so several years ago i was in a pawn shop , seen a SKS in a crappy black folding stock , for giggles i asked to see , right off the get go a 4 digit chinese type 56 , in the crappy lighting i seen the other parts matching the reciever , i thought it was a early sino so negotiated a price and made the deal

get it home and started to see alarm bells , machine marks around all serial numbers , clearly a renumbered rifle , clearly not a sino so clearly a bad buy , thinking it was a bubba serial renumber posted pics in a sks forum and to a small measure of relief , NOT a bubba job , was a Israeli capture rework that was importedin a batch

everyone , oh its a shooter and always will be , not worth anything as collector value just enjoy it , well i dont collect "shooter" rifles , and my sks's get shot no matter what niche they fill

i sat on it for what be 4 years and started toying with the idea of a Bubba'bushka faux Dragonov , which ruffled the feathers of just about all who had told me it was basically a turd ,lol , i went ahead and did the full transformation over the summer which gave me a gun from sour grapes to one i will enjoy

do you fall into the hardcore no bubba anything or do you feel certain circumstances are ok as long as tastefully done

Argentina Dove hunting

Would highly recommend.

Our days have consisted of:
7:00am- breakfast and coffee, hour to two hours.
8-9:00am - in the field. Bird boy carries a case (500 rounds), shotgun, and a 5 gallon bucket to the "hide". The hide can be anything from netting to tree branches to a good bush.

11:00am, 500+ rounds later you've shot many doves. I've been averaging 50-60% hits. Local kids are showing up to pick up all the dead birds because free meat is better than no meat.

12:00pm- lunch and cervezas, then siesta.

2-3:00pm- siesta is over, back in the sprinter van to a field.

5:00pm, 500 rounds later and hundreds of dead doves it's back to the lodge for appetizers and muy cervezas.

8:00pm- dinner and cervezas.

9:00pm, bedtime, Ibuprofen for the bruised shoulders.

As a bonus, they hate parakeets and they are fair game. If the kids can find a wounded one they'll run over and hide behind you in the bushes and fuck with it to make tons of noise. Then all the parakeets will keep coming in and they find it highly entertaining when they get shot.
From what I could understand as my Spanish sucks, the parakeets harass people and they love seeing them shot.

AI .308

Quick question. I recently bought my first AI rifle. A new AT in 308 (thanks for the great deal EuroOptic). I noticed that there is more internal length in these mag than in the AICS mags. Haven’t reloaded in a few years. Is conventional wisdom still stretching the round out as long as possible within the constraints of the mag? I’ve had some great 308s in the past, and have some decent data from those as far as where I’m going to start with load development, but if anyone was willing to share what they’re using for overall length, or charges of varget for Sierra 175’s, I’m a factory AI-AT 308 with the 24” barrel, I’d love to consider that as well. Thanks!

Parallax a big deal?

I know this has been beat to death. On a leupold VX 3HD 6.5x20x40 EFF with the parallax set correctly at 200 ydrs Zero at 12X. This is on a rem 700 .270 deer hunting rifle. Wood there be that big of a difference of POI say at 350/400yrds if parallax was left at 200? Wood changing the power to 20X or back to 6.5 make that big a difference? The numbers on the EFF are close to the actual range but not exact. I would just as soon leave the parallax set where it is and just worry about the range. I know this has been discussed many times. Thanks for any/all replies.. Rob
