I might be a little tin-foiled here but these are some awfully credible individuals testifying to Congress about the existence of things that were only conspiracies and rumors over the last 60 or so years. I guess the Ancient Aliens guy might not be so crazy after all.

Talk started on cover songs, figured a good topic. There are quite a few well known covers, Johnny Cash Hurt I think being very famous. I figured I would start things off with a few that are not as well known.


The first is the cover, the second the original. I picked this original as the video that goes with it goes with the song. It is age restricted, so you might need to do some hoops to watch it.

EDIT TO ADD, The video is very "adult", not porn or anything just war....dirty nasty war.


I think the cover knocks it out of the park, gives me goose bumps. The original, is good but not as good as this cover. Same deal if the link is "broken" remove the dots.

There are two versions of this out there, one with a "real" backing track, the one I linked and another one just her and a guitar. The thing that blows me away on this is this girl is still in spots. Initially the storyline wants you to focus on other things...but...I'm calling it now:

- Silo is actually a self sustaining 'prison' colony
- Conflict / earth all fucked up is bullshit and a total lie
- Earth is habitable
- Silo inhabitants are actually the losers of the conflict
- Winners are topside - OR - even more diabolical, the Silo is 1 of 1000s and its a way for the rich to basically make all of the consumers/poors live in a giant hole in the ground and not have to deal with them

I've got the bug to build a big blaster, say 300NM. I really want to do it on an ARC CDG but the lead times worry me since I will need a LA, LH, with a LM BF. I'm watching the CDG thread and talking to ARC from time to time but all I hear is ~4 months. That's pretty great these days if that's really what it is. Has anyone seen anything besides the RHSAs in the wild? If I know they're actually shipping, and the lead is really 4 months (or even +6 months), it's game on

Hey guys, got a odd question. So my wife is active duty military. In the military you can keep your state of residence (aka the state you join in). So I am a Florida state resident (with a Florida driver's license and vehicle plates) but living in North Carolina. So my Florida driver's license has a NC address. How can I buy an NFA item? Every place I talk to says no, and even the silencer shop is stumped. There has to be someone who has had this issue.

Pardon if this has been asked before but my searches are bringing up nothing of real use.
So I've decided I want to add a good .223 bolt action rifle to my collection. the rifle will be used for target shooting from 100-300 yds from a bench/prone.. Occasionally to 500. My criteria is: heavy barrel profile (22-26") with a 7 or 8 twist, AICS mag compatibility and a decently built and ergonomic stock/chassis ( which will likely eventually get replaced. Finish in SS would be a plus but it's not a deal breaker. Some aftermarket support for customizing would be nice too. Budget is in the $1K-$2K range.
Right now, I'm leaning towards the Tikka T3X Varmint (or super varmint if I can nail down the differences.)
What else should I be looking at? Open to all suggestions that fit the criteria.

Lately I've been having these terrible feelings of isolation. First of all at work, you can't talk shit about guns. TYpical workplace, sometime back one of our workers talked about how should couldn't even talk to 'those people' (Down in Mississippi) and she wasn't refering to the Amish. I've fought that battle before and lost hard, so I just kept in the closet.

While most of the family is sympathetic to firearms, none of them 'dig it' like I do. Somtimes my wife will go shoot, but maybe 1-2 times a year. Everyone else just pays lips service. Meanwhile I'm trolling Brownells late at night like a crack-head or scrolling through the reloading forum or any other source of info.

Add in that what I do is very specialized, and almost no one wants to hear about it or go "Wow that's hard" and its like walking around in a bubble where you can see and hear everyone but no one can see or hear you. Wife babbles endlessly about teaching and I'm like uhh yeah I did a thing that's a world first and get a "thats nice honey"

Plus the double whammy of being new to an area so I haven't broken into the shooting community, clubs are multiyear waits (Learned my lesson, already waitlisted) and even public ranges are few and far between. Its sad I have contemplated heading out to Sureshot in IA, and rent the range for a day just to have some range time on a decent range away from the Hunters/FUDDS/ROs. I think the local reloading shop thinks I'm a stalker cause I end up spending an hour at checkout shooting the shit. I even considered doing a(nother) class just to hang out with other shooters.

Forgot: Doing a pre-surgery class and it was all women. That was a nice punch to the balls.

Don't know where I am going, just wondering if any other people are feeling super isolated due to the current climate/work/family/etc... The world has left me by and I think I was born about 50 years too late.

Last week, FBI Director Christopher Wray told Oversight Chair Comer he would turn over subpoenaed documents Monday, today, that showed FJB took a $5M bribe from a foreign source when he was VP with the Obama administration.

Today, Wray then refused to hand over the document to Congress as agreed upon and instead said he would allow certain members of Congress to view the documents at an FBI facility behind closed doors. Thats not turning the documents over.

Comer to hold FBI Director Wray in contempt of Congress. FBI says 'Fuck you, we president dictator now.'


Enough of this sharade. If anyone questions whether the stolen election didn't result in a criminal regime taking over the government, compeletly impervious to the laws of the country, here's your answer.
