Optics Schmidt Bender 5-25 PM II price drop

New price: $2400 shipped.

Great shape, some turret rash. Seems all my SB get similar scrapes on turret. Can provide photos at some point tomorrow, currently working a 24 hour shift.

I need $2450 to me not counting shipping. So price is that plus shipping and insurance. Can probably ship for $50-60 depending on where it’s going.

Think I have original box but due to recent move not 100% sure I have it handy. I do have paperwork.

I have some steel (heavy) Leupold mark 4 rings Id include for additional $50. They are high. Not for sale separately.

Would consider partial or even full trade. No firearms unless it’s a benelli M4 and you’ll ship to CA. Or potentially LMT MWS MLOK or quad stripped upper. Or Zeiss LRP 3-18.

Thanks

Payment will have to be via PP f/f or zelle.

The Tall Men

Just watched it on You tube.

Im not putting this in the Movies thread because its not really about the movie. It's about a different time a different way of viewing life. The movies didnt need all this CGI stuff, constant being bombarded with every kind of filth and perversion. They just had real men, good plots, good cinematography, even good ethical values.

This one starred Clark Gable, 1955 Western, Gable, who flew bombers over Nazi Germany after he was a star. Jimmy Stewart, Earnest Borgnine, Lee Marvin and dozens of others. They didnt have to try to 'act' like men because they were men. I wont name anyone specific, but I just dont see that in today's crew. Nice fellows acting like men.

I think thats the time we long for, though we do have better glass now.

The 1950's America, perhaps the most golden point in our history, we were just really waking up, the future was wide open. But you cant go back, and looking forward it seems evil is manifesting more rapidly by the day.

Ephesians 6:12-13

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Rant over.

If you aren’t already personally armed at this point I don’t know what to say.

But you should be encouraging / helping right minded friends and family and acquaintances acquire basic firearms and ammo A nudge in the right direction is sometimes all it takes.

Bushnell xrs3 &dmr3

I’m stuck on the xrs3 or dmr3 for my new 6.5cm build has anyone had these side by side what’s your opinion? I think the dmr would be perfect for my build but really want to justify the xrs3 . The Main purpose is shooting steel as far as I can I have places I can shoot almost a mile but I’ll be hunting in box stands on long power lines too so being able to see in low light is important
  • What is the platform for the scope? Ag composites chalkbranch Curtis axiomhybrid
  • What cartridge are you shooting? 6.5cm
  • What is your intended use for the scope? Benchrest, Hunting, Target,
  • What type of conditions will you typically shoot in?, Lowlight mostly but daylight too
  • What are the typical distances you intend to shoot? 75-1500 yds.
  • Are there any specific specifications you would like? Being able to count the points on a deer around 400-600yards close to dark would be nice (even if I don’t shoot )
  • What is the price range you can afford? 2000$

SOLD KRG Bravo for Tikka w/ 2 AICS mags

Bought this off here from a guy that had it signed by buddies after winning a match, so I gave it a sponge paint job to cover it up and it’s sat ever since. My gun build changed directions so I’m going to let it go. Pic rail up front and I think there are swivel studs in the box. I’ll have to check. Perfect shape no dings or gashes. One mag is a 10 round AICS with the binder plate removed. The other is a 5 round PMAG that had to have the lips sanded down and they work great. It’s included for free. $320 shipped USPS priority. PayPal only. Thanks!

Zermatt Arms Ti3

We're happy to announce that we are adding a titanium receiver to our lineup of actions. This has been something that has been on our list for a few years now and we're happy to finally have the time to produce a lightweight action for customers in search of such a thing.

The titanium action's model number will be Ti3-(X)A and will be available in short, medium and long action lengths. This product will be similar to the Origin line of actions as it will only have options for length, operating side, bolt face and bolt knob. It will come standard with a magazine well that will accept Wyatt's extended boxes for people wanting to use hinged floor plates as well as accepting AICS pattern magazines and M5 bottom metal for those wanting to use detachable box magazines. The magazine well will also accept Hawkins Precision's Hunter DBM in all three lengths without modification. The titanium action will come standard with our trim tang (same as Origin actions) and a two piece, pinned 20 MOA rail. No other rail options will be available.

This receiver will come with DLC coating and with the same bolt system that our TL3 and SR3 actions use. There will be no differences in the bolt from the existing platform so production hurdles are minimized. Barrel tenon length will also be the same as current TL3/SR3 barrel tenon length so the Ti3 will use the same barrel systems as the TL3 and SR3 actions use today.

In summation, the Ti3 will be available with the following feature set:
- 6Al-4V DLC coated titanium receiver (short, medium and long lengths available) standard with ZAI's trim tang
- DLC coated floating and interchangeable bolt head (same as current centerfire bolt heads) in 223, PPC/SPC, Standard and Magnum sizes
- Controlled round feed
- Mechanical ejection
- Bayonet style firing pin assembly (same as TL3/SR3 system in all lengths)
- Nitrided bolt body
- Two piece, pinned aluminum 20 MOA rail (able to be replaced with Hawkins Hybrid or similar ring system)

Short actions have been weighed at 22.2 ounces as compared to a TL3-SA at 31.5 ounces in the standard, stainless configuration. Medium actions are 23.1 ounces compared to TL3-MA at 33.4 ounces and long actions are 24 ounces.compared to TL3-LA at 34.8 ounces.

Retail pricing:
Short action: $1800
Medium action: $1900
Long action: $1900

Please email [email protected] for availability.
