Firearms Quality Firearms, Good prices (lowered)

Note: I will only sell to established members with 100% positive feedback for multiple previous transactions.

All of these are new unfired, unmodified, factory built firearms. They have all been stored in a climate controlled safe. You would be buying directly from my FFL. So you would actually pay my FFL and they will ship to your FFL (I have done this with all of the firearms sales I do on this site. It works well to protect myself and the buyer). Payment would be via credit card directly to the shop. I’ve worked closely with this FFL for almost 8 years, they are an actual brick and mortar shop. I can usually only make it to the shop Fri, Sat, and Sun. So please keep that in mind while waiting for the shop to have received the firearm. Again, payment would not be made to me. Payment will be made directly to my FFL after they have the rifle in their possession and you have connected with them on the phone. They can accept credit card over the phone. Not interested in any trades. Any questions, just ask. Each firearm will be shipped with full insurance. Thanks for looking.

Rifle Scopes Minox zp5

Anyone know what’s going on with minox ? Can’t seem to find any of their scopes in stock, seem to be a backorder only thing. Are they going out of business ? Anyone buy one recently for order times? I have a pmii 3-20 that I really like. And I kinda wanted a 5-25 of that design but I don’t want the tunneling of the pmii. And I can’t afford a tangent. I’ve bought most of pricy optics used. I got a good deal on a Zeiss s5 3-18 but I haven’t been that crazy about it. I get a lot of eye strain behind it. I’m guess because it’s a shorter design. I’m not sure my eyes don’t love it. Was going to sell that and get something else. I hear good things about the zp5 and the old premier heritage. But Id like a warrentee if something breaks. The premier wouldn’t have that. The minox I think is only transferable to the second owner I believe. Not sure

Interpreting borescope results, corrosion?

I got a cheap bore scope to be able to check my barrel for wear, and often take it with me to the range if anyone wants to have a look into their barrel. On a couple of occations i have had a look in a couple of Tikka T3x 308 light barrels, that according to the owners only had shot a couple of houndred shots.

Both of them did how ever have strange pittings that i dont really know what they are or what caused it. My first guess was that the rifles(being hunting rifles) had been used in the forrest, and rain droplets had gotten into the barrel during hunting trips causing corrosion. But i have seen this in a third barrel also, and i know that one hadnt been used in rain. There are several of these areas in each barrel, and the steel look a bit matte in the whole barrel, the rifles didnt have any accuracy issues according to their owners.

Could this be a manufacturing defect, or is it corrosion?

New stock new load. Frustrating.

I’ve had a problem child (308 Howa 1500) for awhile now. Only gun I can’t get to shoot relatively good. After years of load development, I found one load it liked. Recently I got a new chassis (replaced Bell&Carlson stock) and took it out today with my tried and true load. I know if you make any changes it will effect results, but I didn’t expect to have the groups open up that much. I mean with a stiffer chassis I guess it may have changed the harmonics that much. Anyone go through something like this?

I’m seriously considering bedding the chassis. I don’t buy into the idea that it won’t make a difference on a chassis. I thought on the way home maybe something came loose. Nope, not at all.

What are your favorite cars/car brands?

  1. What car brands did you grow up loving and why? Do you still love them today?
  2. What was your first car?
  3. What car brands do you love today?
  4. What types of cars/trucks/SUVs do you like today?
  5. What is your dream 5-car garage? (if money wasn't an issue)
  6. What is your practical 3-car garage?
  7. What are your next vehicle purchases?

1.) I came from a Ford family. Dad's first car was a Plymouth muscle car from the 60's but then he got a 79' Ranger and never looked back. 92 Ford Taurus, 98 Windstar, 2005 Expedition, 2004 Super Duty. I don't really like Ford any longer for a variety of reasons and bad experiences. My neighbor was a huge MOPAR fan and restored old Dodge muscle cars, and that began my love of Dodge. I still love Dodge today, but I don't like that it's going all-in on electrification ONLY. I don't mind an EV but I think Dodge needs to offer an ICE V8/V6 for as long as possible.

2.) Toyota MR2. It was a nice little daily driver I drove to high school. The Chevy Cobalt was the first car I bought and drove in college.

3.) Toyota, Porsche, Bentley, Aston Martin, Lexus, Mazda, Honda, RAM, Jeep, Dodge. I would like to love BMW and Mercedes but I hate their design direction.

4.) I like small fun-to-drive cars like the M2, Miata, GR86, S2000, Type R, etc., and overlanding off-roaders. A desert runner would be cool too.

5.) Bentley Bentayga EWB, Ram Prospector XL, Porsche 911 GT3, Toyota Land Cruiser, Ford GT Supercar

6.) Toyota Tacoma, Toyota 4Runner, Toyota GR86.

7.) Toyota Tacoma and a cheap Porsche 911 I can restore over time.

These are just some questions to think about, you don't have to answer all of them, just the ones that are interesting to you.

Car Jacking gone wrong

As authorities were chasing Zanders through Brusly, an Addis Police unit crashed into a vehicle, killing Dunn and Gill, who were not involved in the theft, according to the West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office.

I think, in this case, the training manual should have been thrown away and the vehicle should have been filled full of lead... ASAP

The Safety Briefing

Okay I'll admit that the subject title was a bit of click-bait but I couldn't think of anything else to call this thread.

I'm all about safety as yours truly has been severely injured before and it's no fun. Also had a friend die in a work place accident.

So I thought it would be interesting to share stories or information that we can all take with us in our everyday lives.

Question for veterans out there: what was the least wanted job/additional duty that you could ever get other than PLO (Permanent Latrine Orderly)? Was it the organization's Safety Officer/NCO or planning the Commander's Christmas party?

Now I don't want this to be so serious that we get bored or turned off on the subject matter. With that said, I will humbly submit this trauma surgeon's analysis of the injuries Harry and Marv sustained in the "Home Alone" movies.

A 6:00 she mentions the "hangman's fracture." Yours truly experienced this. It was no fun and almost killed me but I enjoyed seeing Marv get his. The first atta-boy goes to the person who can submit the best safety briefing.

EDIT: I would nominate Kevin for a wide-area munitions specialist job in the Army.

Has anyone else had a package disappear?

I ordered a Gibbz receiver to act as the point where all my well bought black Friday parts would converge to produce a cool gift. I even paid extra and chose UPS, not the US post office, to ensure that it would be delivered over the Christmas rush. Then I received an email that my package had suffered a "sortation" error in Mesa Arizona. WTF is "sortation"? I had to look that one up. I thought UPS was making up words but it's a real word. It's not just doublespeak for "one of our employees stole a package that they thought was a whole firearm. I filled out a claim and it's now under investigation. I haven't heard back from Gibbz. I'm sure they've been out all week so I'm not sure how this will play out. I suppose I can wait for either UPS to find the receiver or pay out the claim. I suspect one will never happen and the other will take even longer.

Firearms 2013 badger action in KRG stock, 16 inch bbl, 6.5 creedmoor 1440 shipped

Hello all!
Selling a Badger 2013 action based rifle, in a non folding KRG stock.
Took the rifle to a long weekend in Logan, New Mexico to do a steel safari type class, so there are some scratches on the rifle, nothing major. Did great, sweet little 9.5 lb rifle as it sits. If it is on the stock and in the pictures, it is included. Brand new firing pin and spring, so bolt lift will be a bit stiff for a bit.
Got this from another hider, bought it as is, shot it for a bit, so not being coy just do not know what the barrel maker/twist is, just that my gunsmith stated it was radiused.
Cheek piece cut in order to cycle the bolt, just to explain that picture :)
1440 shipped from my ffl to yours, CONUS. PP F&F preferred, checks fine as well.
Feel free to text me at 8o6 678 37#51 for more pics, questions, etc.
Thanks!
