FRT's - What is good? And what is Rare Breeds real website?

I been researching the FRT triggers tonight, seeing they are legal again. I see there is a "super safety".... but I dont want anything plastic and I am not interested in a push/pull safety option. kicking around the idea of buying an FRT but has to be 3 position, safe, normal firing, and then forced reset. Who makes the best solid one with nice trigger pull and reliable?
Researching i found Rare Breed..... but I found several websites for Rare Breed... and posts on redit saying some are fake scammers.
Anyone know which one is real? Cant find them on facebook either.

I think this one may be real - .rarebreedtriggerus.com

Then there is this - rarebreedtrigger.org

and this - rarebreedtriggers.com

and - rarebreedtriggersco.com

and - rarebreedtriggerfrt.com

SOLD L3i Stinger Billet Magazine

A bit marked up (holster wear and use) but never dropped or abused. Works as it should. Pics up later today when I get home.

$100 PPFF shipped.

Stinger Billet 15-Round AICS Pattern Magazine

Crafted from rugged 7075-T6 aluminum, the Stinger 15-round AICS pattern magazine is engineered for precision and durability. It features the industry’s only multi-adjustable stainless steel latch, allowing fine-tuned control over height, body width, and presentation angle.

The innovative latch system uses two set screws to adjust both the outward protrusion and angle relative to the magazine body, ensuring a custom fit and consistent feeding performance.

While optimized for use with our Stinger action, this magazine is also compatible with many 40X-style .22LR clone actions, thanks to its high degree of adjustability.

Weighing in at a solid 16 ounces unloaded, the Stinger magazine mimics the weight of a loaded centerfire mag, making it ideal for rimfire training setups that need to replicate centerfire balance and handling.

Badger Ordnance M2013 project

After many years of wanting one, I finally got the chance to own a Badger M2013. I purchased one from the PX here recently, and there isn’t a whole lot out there regarding these actions compared to pretty much any other custom-level action. From what I have read however, is that the M2013 isn’t worth the trouble and just to go for an AI instead. Well now that I own one, I feel like I should speak up and make my opinions known so that others can maybe know what to expect if they are considering one in the future.

From what I know, the action I have is an early model serialed A0066. Prior to me owning it, it’s seen 5000+ rounds and a number of different barrels and calibers. The barrel currently is a 20 inch Bartlein in 6 Creedmoor, 1-7.7 twist with roughly 100 rounds through it. The stock is a 1 of 1 Manners that has no serial code, and they have no record of it even being made. After receiving the rifle, I sent it to them to refurbish. It wasn’t in terrible shape but could definitely use a tune-up. I also had them refinish it in Olive Drab, where it was previously rattle-canned tan. I really like the stock, and would say it’s closest to an EH1-A. Manners did a fantastic job with a surprisingly quick turnaround.

Since getting the stock back I have spent some time behind the rifle, and can say that it’s been a real pleasure to run so far. The action is hilariously smooth, and it runs AW mags like a dream. The bolt lift isn’t the lightest in the world, but when properly ran it is not noticeable whatsoever. No hitches or hangups with binding, it’s just nice. Very little bolt play when brought to the rear, stays tight and true the whole way. I’ve owned many 700 clone custom actions in all bolt lifts, and this one is up there with the best of them. I will be looking into timing the trigger, or getting one with an adjustable sear engagement. It currently has a TT Special single stage.

Very happy with this purchase, and looking forward to getting it out and stretching its legs once I get it setup the way I want for varmint hunting. Thinking about going for a nice clip-on thermal to place on that EFR up front. Also pondering on what optic to roll with that works well with the thermal clip-ons, (that’s not a LPVO) as well as what height everything should be. Let me know what you guys think, and if you’ve owned one of these let me know your opinions or suggestions!

Accessories Seb Neo-X Custom Cut Case Foam

This started as an idea and is now a reality! I started a thread on AccurateShooter Forum to gauge interest in gathering a group together to purchase custom cut case foam for the SEB Neo-X. Needless to say, there is massive interest and I put together a list of 30 people interested in getting in on something. I met with the designer today and approved the prototype the order is officially placed.

This post is for custom cut, heavy duty, closed-cell case foam designed to perfectly fit the SEB Neo-X. This stuff is firm, holds upto 50lbs, is self healing and resistant to oil. I had this designed to be a direct replacement to the bottom half of an Apache Model #4800 found at your local Harbor Freight.

This post is for the remaining 30 units that will be available to ship in 3-4 weeks when production is finished.

Price is $130.00 Shipped & Insured

Who wants one? Reply to this thread and send me a PM

SOLD Vudoo V22 barreled action

Selling a Vudoo V22 barreled action. Barrel length is 18” and measures .88 at the muzzle. Barreled action includes a trigger tech diamond 2 stage trigger and 6 Vudoo mags. I’m the second owner of the rifle so I don’t have an exact round count on it. I’ve owned the rifle for about 2 and a half years and have shot 3 NRL22 matches with it and probably have around another 150 rounds through it in scope zeroing and assorted shooting. Everything functions as expected and is in good condition. I’m selling as I don’t have time to shoot both centerfire and rimfire comps. Additional photos available upon request.$1500 shipped to your FFL.

New Rimfire Project 2500x/Mullerworks/BnA

I'm finally moving on from the RimX testing. 38 barrels and 25,000+ rounds tested is enough for me. We got some excellent barrel and ammo data on the RimX over the past few yeats and put the RimX through its paces since day 1.

The RimX exceeded my expectations in every way. With its revolutionary bolt design, making headspace not matter, it went against everything we knew about rimfires up until its release. Accuracy blew me away, shooting lot tested ammo @ 50yd into 50rd 0.1 agg and 100yd sub 0.5" 30rd agg.

My RimX is one of my favorite guns to shoot and it's not going anywhere. But I'm done testing barrels for it. Lots of great options out there to choose from. Manzella Precision is putting out some RimX tack drivers right now.

I'm now starting a new Rimfire project to see how much Accuracy and consistency I can pull out of 22lr. And how much more I can pull out compared to my best RimX results.

I picked up a brand new Holeshot 2500x from KSS and I'm putting together a full Rimfire BR rig.

I'm going to have 4 or 5 barrels done for it to test. To start, the first 2 in hand that are going out to be cut are a Mullerworks and Green Mountain. Green Mountains aren't used in the rimfire BR world, but I have a few in the shop so why not have one fitted and see how it compares to the MW, Shilens, and Benchmarks of the world. I'm waiting on a Shilen to arrive thats on order and will have an Ace on the way. I'll have those 2 done later on. Most are shooting 0.900 straight barrels in these setups, some shoot 1.2's but 900 are the norm.. I could only get these straights right now so maybe the next two will be 900's. We will see and test.

Holeshot 2500X
Bix N Andy Comp 2 Stage
Murphy Precision SS 20moa base
Mullerworks 1.2" 8 groove 1-13
Green Mountain 1.2" 6 Groove 1-16
22lr Match Eachus chamber
PWC Randy Owens High stock

Haven't made my mind up on what scope will live on it. I have a whole bunch of lots of Midas, CenterX, R50, RWS Special Match, SK+, and SK RM to test.

Stay tuned....

Knives Benchmade Autocrat First Production OTF, Benchmade Anonimus First Production Fixed Blade, and Mercworx Equatorian Fixed Blade

I was bad today on Busse’ site and ordered a few custom shop knives so to try to be somewhat financially responsible I should sell a few out of the collection.

Payment via Zelle or Venmo. Not interested in trades.

- Benchmade Autocrat 3400BK First Production #366/800. I’m the original owner and bought from a local retailer the day it was released back in 2019. I carried it a few times but never cut anything with it. Shows some light wear on the blue anodizing on the trigger and on the screws and a couple very small marks on the blade but overall I’m great shape. Includes original box and everything. $450 $400 shipped. No sales where autos aren’t legal.

- Benchmade Anonimus 539GY First Production. I bought all 3 of the ones my local dealer got in the day of release in early 2022 and we’ve used two of them exclusively as our camp knives since and it’s the best camp knife I’ve ever owned. I’m selling the third (our spare) that has never been used or carried. The only mark on it is below the BM logo from the sheath rubbing it most of which wiped off with a cloth. Comes with sheath and original box. $325 $300 shipped.

- Mercworx Equatorian. I’m the second owner of this knife, I bought it from a buddy of mine that ordered it from Mercworx. He never used it and neither have I. It’s got some very very light scratches on the blade but is otherwise as new. Comes with sheath. $450 $425 shipped.

Springfield Waypoint—an owner's story of disappointment and abject failure

Hi all, I've posted about this rifle before on here, but wanted to put together a story for anyone interested in this rifle. Here's the link to the original thread and the more exhaustive one on long range hunting. The TLDR version is this: do NOT buy this rifle. It does not perform as advertised and is liable to fail you.

My rifle has been to Springfield twice, has spent over 5 months at their facilities, and still suffered a catastrophic failure by the second box of ammo.

Here's the story. I bought my Waypoint 6.5 Creedmoor with the carbon barrel. After 150-200 rounds of 1.5-2 MOA from match ammo, I sent it back to them to fix the accuracy issues. 8 weeks later, they sent me the same rifle back with a new barrel. They didn't tell me why they replaced the barrel other than their tech said it just "didn't look right."

The first time the rifle came back, it shot within their ¾ MOA guarantee when ice cold. However, on the second or third string of fire, it would open up to the 1.5 MOA of the last barrel. I sent it back a second time. After some back and forth with the Springfield warranty department, they agreed to send me a brand-new rifle in 6.5 PRC. Great, a brand new rifle to start fresh from… or so I thought.

After over 14 weeks at their facilities, Springfield sent me the brand new 6.5 PRC rifle. I shot a grand total of 24 rounds through the rifle before the firing pin sheared off at the tip. Attached are pictures of the firing pin sheared off. Poor heat treating and metal quality.

Springfield's lack of ability to get the basic things right is astonishing. An inaccurate precision rifle is not acceptable given what they ask for this rifle, but it is entirely unacceptable that they have an entire batch of new rifles out there with firing pins ready to break. Imagine sinking all the time and money into a hunting trip for your rifle to go click when it's supposed to go boom. I will never purchase another product from this company again.
