I've been using Shooter's World Precision as a Varget substitute for about a year. Overall, pretty darn good. I THINK I'm seeing some significant temperature sensitivity. I don't have exhaustive data, so it's just a hunch at this point.

Anyone else experienced SWP speeding up with temp?

Currently have an FN15 TAC3 that's an excellent rifle. Lightweight, 1000% reliable, runs smooth as silk, etc. But my fall/winter prairie dog trip is becoming an annual thing and upgrading my AR-15 is the only real way to get a varmint gun.

I've been a big Rock River fan over the years...is that my best bet for sub-$1000 accuracy? Lots of used ones for reasonable prices.

Anything else I should be considering? $1500+ is not in the cards.

I'm looking for suggestions on muzzle brake brands. I'm trying to find companies that offer oversized O.D.'s on their brakes , with the intent to turn them down on a lathe for a "no seam" or "no line" finished product. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have been having trigger cam issues with a older unit. Was working just fine, died and I keep getting like a purple screen, and I have a hard time keeping it from going to a purple screen. Software is up to date we have done a factory reset and its fully charged now. Customer service is not the best being in South Africa. At this point its a paper weight. Anyone have similar issues?

I have a Defiance Deviant Tactical 6.5 creedmoor I wanted to get the adjustable cheek piece added to the stock. I called LRI and they're $750-$1000 which makes no sense financially for me. Stock doc Joe is not taking work at the moment.

So I guess I'm debating selling this Manners and buying one with an adjustable cheek piece. So if I'm looking at used stocks on ebay, will any Rem 700 stock work or do I have to have one that's cut for a Defiance Deviant/AICS? I have only ever had Tikkas before, and it either fit a T3/T3x or it didn't and life was simple. The R700 world is new to me.

Unfortunately with work schedules and life, shooting for me has been put on the back burner. Up for grabs is my Lone Peak Fuzion SA in a black foundation centurion with Hawkins m5 dbm and foundation brass arca rail. Comes with a gold TriggerTech Diamond single stage.

Barrel is a 26” 7.5tw CRB comp contour chambered in 6 dasher, threaded 5/8x24 and includes the Hawkins updraft brake. Rifle weighs approximately 25lbs with optic (not for sale). Barrel has 379 rounds down it (33.4gr h4350 with a 105hybrid 2860fps).

Comes with two gray ops 12rd dasher AW mags.
