how far can someone accurately shoot with a scope with a fixed parallax, let´s fixed at 100yds.?

From which distance is parallax adjustment recommandable or mandatory?

I am a relatively new shooter for distance. I am in need of some advice. I have a Howa 1500 with MDT HS3 chassis. It has a heavy varmint barrel in 1/12 twist. It shoots 55gr bullets very well but accuracy diminishes as the bullet size increases. So I want to change barrels to a heavy Palma barrel or MTU barrel at 1/7 twist. I am also looking to possibly pick one bullet (the best) and developing loads with it. I’m looking for advice on bullets, loads, barrel length and any other ideas. Thanks to all in advance!

RRS BTC-pro dual clamp, had it on my Atlas for maybe a week to accommodate a new rifle with a pic rail, ended up just getting a ARCA rail for it so no longer need the Dual Clamp. Also have a Recoil X .30cal suppressor brake, maybe 20rds actually fired through it. I’m almost done with my cheytac build! I figured it was time to get some powder ordered. It looks like it’s still impossible to find retumbo or VVN570. Has anyone used RL33 with 350gr bullet? Or does anyone know of any other good substitutes. I’ll be shooting CE 350gr MTH.

Getting ready to take my 6mm Creedmoor barrel on it's madine shoot. I bought a few boxes of Hornady Black 105gn BTHP to break in. Out of curiosity I just took some measurements on he factory ammo from all the boxes. The OAL on the factory rounds is 2.695. Just looking at the Hornady manual for reloading the 6mm Creedmoor it states an OAL of 2.790. Curious why the OAL on the factory rounds is so short at 2.695 but the reloading manual has it at 2.790.

So this is a bunch of stuff I need to get this out of my house.

Just turned 70 last year. At my age time is the most expensive part any equation. I'm lucky that I have the funds saved for what I will call my last custom rifle order. So this is what I'm looking for:

I'm thinking about one rifle with two interchangeable barrels. One barrel is going to be a 6GT with a 26-inch competition barrel. The other barrel will be a 20-inch carbon wrapped 6.5 Creedmoor with a can for the occasional antler critter. Both calibers use standard a bolt diameter.

Reasoning is first, I've run out of space in my safe. Second, a barrel vise is cheaper than two rifles.

My question is should I buy prefit barrels of have a gunsmith do them? The action is already on its way and should have it next week, and it takes prefits (Defiance Ruckus).

Brief overview:

We finally got the Ultra50 out the door. It's unbelievably awesome


We expanded the Magnus line to be 3 different lengths (K, S, and full length); each length is available in .30, .338, or .375 caliber), and each of those is available as a normal can, or with our new RR (reduced recoil / race ready) brake like the 50 has. Recoil reduction on 300WM as an example exceeds 60%.


These are available with four different mount options, some are restricted by caliber applicability, CB, BA, HUB, SR.
I know you can't read the above table-- there is a PDF linked from the link at the top of this post.

We also added the RR option to the 338 Ultra,

Recoil reduction on 338LM is 54% where the normal can is 32%.

Left hand 25 Creedmoor Chambered by TS Customs on a Falkor Defense 7even action. 27" barrel is a stainless CRB 1-7 twist Competition Contour that was fluted by LRI. Barrel shoots really well and is right at 425rounds. I got to use it in one NRL Hunter Competition last year and I don't get to do any more NRL matches for this year. boo.
