SOLD Kidd 10/22 Precision Chassis w/ MDT SCS-Lite Buttstock & Grip

Recently bought this to try a chassis, but have come to terms that stocks fit me better. This hasn’t left my workbench and only had my Kidd 10/22 supergrade installed for testing. All was purchased directly from Kidd.

This is their longer chassis with ability to use rear tang and change supergrade barrel. Specs are available on there website. Has built in Arca. MDT buttstock has adjustable cheek riser and spacers for lop. Grip is mdt pistol.

I am interested in partial trades for a McMillan A5-22 that accepts Kidd rear tang or a Kidd modified magpul stock. Price includes shipping within CONUS. Prefer PayPal f&f or Venmo. Pm with questions. This is cross posted.

Bergara BXR

Bergara just released a 10/22 footprint 22lr. Seems to be a much better option to the Ruger competition series at the same price point. Hopefully the barrels are also 10/22 compatible. Bergara is selling this rifle as a comm ground to the “featureless mass produced rifles and over the top boutique rifles.” Estimated release is end of summer.

Church shooting in my AO

As I can find no mention of the suspects name color or race I’m wondering g if we won’t soon find out he is from Middle East and a recent invader? Just speculation.

The good news is church security shot him almost immediately and someone outside the church at least attempted to run his ass over. -don’t be sheep when faced with an attacker.

.308, .300WSM, or 6.5PRC in a shorter (~22”) barrel

I’m in the planning stages of building a Frankenstein build to reuse a Bergara Premier action from my previous PRS production gun. My goal is a lightweight hunting rifle that will be used almost exclusively on the east coast for whitetail and black bear. Lightweight is the primary objective. I’ve decided on a barrel nut prefit from Preferred Barrel Blanks in carbon fiber, but I am still torn on cartridge choice. The three I am considering are .308WIN, .300WSM, and 6.5PRC. I’d like to keep barrel length around 20-22” not for weight but for handling characteristics in dense timber.

Would a .300WSM or 6.5PRC be effectively neutered in a barrel that short? If those two would perform the same as .308WIN in an equally short barrel would it just make sense to go with the .308?

Hey Frank,

Hey Frank, staff.
TresMon here. I've been a 'Hide member forever. As in way back on the original platform.

I'm eat'up with medical issues, slowly losing everything & literally becoming homeless is on the horizon.

I recently launched an emergency GoFundMe. I don't know much about such. But is their an area of the forum (Bear Pit?) that would be permissable to post the link of my fundraiser? Or an even more efficient way to get the info to members for their individual consideration l?

Just asking straight up. I don't want to get in trouble or cause trouble. I don't want to be homeless + ill either.
Let me know & thanks,
Tres

Gen 3 Razor/higher magnification

I currently have a Gen 2 razor on my RimX and I hate the 3 set screws to adjust the zero. I am looking at getting a Gen 3 razor. I like the ebr reticle. For the guys who run the Gen 3 razor do you find that the reticle is too small running 15-20 power. That’s where I run my Gen 2. I had a very little bit of time on a Gen 3 and I kinda felt that but it could also be because I didn’t have a ton of time behind it.

One Year of Hide.TV

Group 1597882595.PNG

Hey All,

I wanted to say Thanks and Let you know we are hitting our 1 year anniversary with TheHide.TV

After almost 25 yrs of running Sniper's Hide it's never easy to take big sweeping changes to the site. We move domains, we adjust on the fly in places people think are not broken. We break shit, fix shit, adjust shit, everyday to run this place and I appreciate you all hanging around.

This week, the 4th of July weekend is our 1 Year Anniversary, so to mark this occasion we plan on doing some giveaways, contests etc.

The main change to the site is TheHide.TV side now runs the site. The forum is slowly getting folded into the platform so the features will start to run seamlessly. The Team here is working hard all the time to improve the experience.

Special Shoutout to @alexj-12 she is the Engine that Could, working so hard to manage this place. Solving problems, all while getting reported as spam. No She's the admin you never knew you needed, so big things to Alex and her team.

That Team is also working on the Gravity Ballistics App, they are adding Kraft Quick Wind to the App, as they both work perfect together.
IMG_1148.jpeg

The Kraft Wind addition will change the way this app functions. Today it already works offline, allows you have to unlimited Tracks, and the more you use it, the easier it is, but also the less you need an app to begin with. Gravity Ballistics with Kraft Quick Wind changes how you look at the conditions and instantly adds a value you can understand to it. We see the conditions and the system helps you improve the call, yes you read that right, the more you use it, the easier the world becomes.

But again, thanks look for the Giveaways, the Contests, the Swag, and as always New Videos
