Been on the form for about a year learning about PRS Rimfire. Getting started this year at North East Texas Tactical south of Dallas TX. Started shooting with my 35 year old repeater. I'm interested in upgrading to some new gear purchased on the Exchange. However, I can't figure out how to Personal Message. I searched the form for articles and tried to watch the help videos but didn't see the feature. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I recently purchased a blemished CZ 457 Precision .22LR from Kygunco, and I plan to use it primarily for benchrest shooting. My favorite distance for shooting .22 rifles is 100 yards, and I’m considering trying out some competitions, though I’m not sure what category I’d fit into with this rifle.
I also have a couple of 10/22s that I regularly shoot at 100 yards.

Now, I need some advice on a scope for the new rifle. I’m torn between the Burris Xtreme Tactical XTR II F-Class Rifle Scope 8x40 50mm and the Ares ETR Gen2 UHD 15-60x56 ABLR3 SFP IR MOA Reticle. Does anyone have experience with these, or is there another option under $900 you’d recommend?

I also have a 6.5 Creedmoor Howa Bolt Action with a Bushnell MatchPro 5x30, and a .223 semi-auto with a 24-inch barrel and an Arken Optics SH-4 6x24. I could swap one of those scopes for the new CZ and put the new one on either the .223 or the 6.5. I really enjoy long-range shooting and am currently hitting targets at 500 yards (not really long range) with the 6.5, with plans to stretch it to 1000 yards eventually.

What do you think is the best approach here?
