Accessories McMillan HTG 700 SA Stock - Dark Forest - non smear

Another almost McMillan M40A1 - HTG stock, Rem 700 SA footprint, M5 bottom metal cut. Great condition, I cannot make out ANY kind of field or bench wear, previously bedded for a 700 SA! Excellent bedding job. Defined dark forest color with 3 sling studs and a 1/2-3/4” black pad.
Sniper fill.

Barrel channel is Remington Varmint, not M24, and in some wsys a better set up than McMillan’s normal M24/MTU barrel channels, this can be sanded out or milled out to better match the barrel profile. (If you running a true Schneider #7 or M24 Hart) The standard McMillan M24/MTU channel leaves a small gap along the barrel. If your running a varmint contour all the better, this is perfect. I tossed a verifiable varmint contour barrel blank in and perfect.

This is a catch and release for me, just ended up with too many stocks/projects. 750$ shipped

Suppressors Thunder beast RR brake module mishap

I was out shooting with a buddy today lobbing some 300 PRC at a mile when about 50 rounds in his RR brake module shot off the front off his Magnus suppressor. Unfortunately we were unable to retrieve the brake as it got lost down the hill at the range. I was curious if anyone else has had this issues before (If so did they warranty the brake and or provide any details as to why this might happen?). Dan, one of the guys that runs the range told me this is the third instance hes seen where one of the RR brakes shoot off. I also have a Magnus RR suppressor (~2000 rounds on it) and never had any issues with it. I did check, the brake was tightened down prior to shooting. Below is a picture of it after it shot off the rifle.

300 BLK Build help

Recently began considering doing a 300 blackout build. My criteria is quiet and accurate to 100 yards. Pretty simple right? lol. I always wrote the 300 BO off as a fad and didn’t get it but a dedicated subsonic rig seems like the solution for what I’m looking for. The reason is I live in a neighborhood but we have lots that are 2 to 3 acres and we are surrounded by farm land. Recently some coyotes have been seen and actually killed a neighbors little yip yip dog. So I’m looking for something to use on them hence it has to be quiet. The neighbors actually requested I take them out, but I don’t want anyone to know when I actually do lol. I have a spare AR lower so I have the option to build one in that platform or I was thinking a Howa Mini bolt gun. Any thoughts or suggestions? Still haven’t decided what can to go with either. I also thought about getting a big bore PCP air rifle but not sure.

The AI Arctic Warfare Picture Thread

This thread is for AW's (AWSM, AWM, AW50, etc.) ONLY.

Lets keep chatter to a minimum here. Take it to the general AI thread to converse.

(Note: SH either lost or deleted the previous thread after yesterday's site maintenance *sigh*. So this is going to be take #2. I reached out to SH support to see if we can get that one back but they have not said anything.)

I fully understand how he feels but the root issue, the American people, caused this.

No demand,... equals,... no cartels. Being proactive vs trying to cure the effect, is a no win solution, but it does grow the gov!

XM2010 chassis screw question

I got superrrrrrr lucky to put my hands on an xm2010 chassis and ony 9 screws came with it. 6 with 7/64 hex for the top rail and other 3 with 1/8 hex (weird). I do believe they are the same length but I am not pretty sure what exact spec they are and where I can find extra. It kinda bothers me because I dont have enough extra 4 8/40 for m24 receivers so I am looking for getting extra ones (better to be m2010 original). Also please let me know their torque specs!
