Well aware. I was stationed in Texas for 3 years, Korea for 10 years, and have been in Maryland for almost 15 years. Maryland "spicy" has a hint of heat. Texas spicy varies quite a bit, from mild to painful. Korean spicy starts at an 8/10 and goes up...but even with 10/10 spicy Korean there is still a good flavor; it can be painful, but I won't stop eating it because the flavor is excellent. Pay the price later, not in a fun way.
I think when people say that they mean it shouldn’t be cake sweet, which is gross. An actual pinch of sugar you wouldn’t know was there it would just bring out the natural sweetness of the corn.
I don’t have that problem, also ost of the stupid hot shit people make isn’t about flavor in the first place it’s about pain lol. I make hot shit that tastes good too. I’d probably like Korean food, I like a little pain and sweating while I eat.
I'm no homo expert, but Key West, FL is overrun with the gayz. It's a small town compared to Austin though...everything is bigger in Texas, especially their egos and their women.

some folks handle it better than others, but nearly everyone sweats when the heat is tuned up. Haven't found a Korean restaurant in the states that can compete with one in Korea. I don't have to go searching though, I married one, and brought her back here.
