Well aware. I was stationed in Texas for 3 years, Korea for 10 years, and have been in Maryland for almost 15 years. Maryland "spicy" has a hint of heat. Texas spicy varies quite a bit, from mild to painful. Korean spicy starts at an 8/10 and goes up...but even with 10/10 spicy Korean there is still a good flavor; it can be painful, but I won't stop eating it because the flavor is excellent. Pay the price later, not in a fun way.Most of the stuff people call spicy isn’t the least bit spicy at all. It’s the fact everything they cook is bland as hell.
