Re: Marksmanship in a Minute, Service Rifle Shooting Hopefully this question is not too far off the original intent of this thread: How proficient does one get at calling the shot, and are you able to call a specific resulting shot value? No doubt this ability increases with skill and...
Re: BAT VR action work with SA Remmy parts? Stan, I have one as well (without rail). It was fitted to an A5 stock inletted for a 700 short action. I didn't do the work, but as indicated above the bolt inlet needed widened slightly at the front. Also the integral recoil lug in the VR...
Re: F-Class t/r and moa.... You could have worse guys "blabbering" on your thread about being competitive in F T/R shooting....like me Might want to check out the names of the members of the US F T/R team.
Re: 6.5 x 47 COAL? I ended up at 2.683" for cartridge overall length with 123 scenars. My chamber was cut with a reamer to yield a shorter freebore for the lighter to mid class weight bullets though. Most guys running the 139/142 gr bullets will have spec'd a longer throat and have a longer...
Re: AR-15 with 69gr SMK...any pet loads? Pretty good data on the White Oak website for the 69 SMK for a couple of the powders you have on hand. http://www.whiteoakprecision.com/info-reloading.htm
Re: Is the Lyman T Mag II a good press? I started reloading rifle and pistol with a T Mag II, but have since bought a RockChucker for rifle reloading. I like the turret set up for pistol, but similar to Fuzzball I prefer a single station press for precision rifle rounds.

Re: 6.5x47 lapua dies? I use the Forster 6.5x47 dies and like them just as well as the Redding competition dies. The micrometer graduations are not as easy to see on the Forster dies as the Redding, but this hasn't caused any problems. Biggest difference is neck tension is easier to adjust...
Re: 6.5x47Lapua reloading help/SAMMI Specs Hopefully this link works. If not check out the 6.5 mm and up forum on 6mmbr.com. The 6.5x47 diagram is sticky at the top. Dimensions are metric. Hope this helps. http://6mmbr.websitetoolbox.com/post?id=1056446. I had a similar problem and was...
Re: 6.5X47L bushing I'm not using a bushing die, but my rounds measure .2895-.290 after seating scenars. Depending on what neck tension you are looking for a .288 or .289 bushing should get you close.
Re: Digital powder dispenser? After spending way too many years with just a Lyman 55 powder measure, I purchased a Chargemaster a couple years back and can honestly say it has not only increased the number of rounds I can produce but also made reloading more enjoyable. Wish I wouldn't have...
Re: Most accurate powders for the 22-250 I've also had good luck with H380 and the 55 grain V max. I ended up with a powder charge of 38.6 grains using Winchester cases and WLR primers.
