Current build. Waiting on the Vortex LHT 4.5-22; EOTech on it for testing. Shooting great at 100, need to test it at longer ranges still. Intent is a secondary shooter platform for team prs-style matches (think: TTG Sniper Challenge).

Ballistic Advantage makes some good ones as well. I recently purchased a 13.7" carbine for a build, planning on another with a 13.9" mid-length.

Like I said, I had no issues with the CMC parts kit, CMC drop-in trigger kit, and pairing with an old Windham Weaponry upper.

I have one, no issues. Have the Radian ambi selector and CMC parts kit and drop-in trigger.

I will soon have it in every lower.

For those shooting special cool-guy competitions, what is your secondary shooter set-up? My impression is that it's generally a .308 or .223 (as sometimes dictated by the rules). Is it typically a gas gun or bolt gun? I have a 20" WOA match upper that I'm considering re-purposing for this...

I ended up grabbing a 700 VTR over the SPS. Similar pricing in my area. The stock seems to be a bit nicer; although, the barrel is not free-floated (has 2 rabbit ears, but have read about others dremeling them away). But, with the SPS stocks, using a bipod tends to push the forend up to touch...

Used to get coyotes in my parents' backyard in Lowell toward Winter. Now they also have a family of foxes. The neighborhood has learned to keep their pets indoors over the last few years. Also, the occasional black bear. And I remember a bobcat running around one Winter.

Was going to go the B&C w/ DBM, but for the price, this seems to be a much better option.

I took the plunge earlier this month with a Rem 700 VTR in .308; I was chiefly debating between the SPS Tactical and AAC-SD when I ran into this at the local shop. Certain type of grease to use on your precision rifle? I have a tube of dow33 kicking around, but want to make sure it's safe to use of my Rem700. Thanks!

I just ordered the Flush Mount for $159. Fingers crossed that it fits without issue.
