Re: bgtc prec rifle match 8/18/12-scores posted Great match Larry, I really like the new format and the longer ranges. I emailed you a few pics from the match. If you want you can post them here or on the range website. Thanks again for a fun and safe match.
Re: S&W MP15-22 I really like the M&P 15-22. The best accessory I have added to my 15-22 is the slidefire stock. It will dump a whole mag in about 2 seconds. Mine is very accurate with CCI green tag ammo. I get decent (2"@50) accuracy with other brands. It hates remington ammo, the federal...
Re: New Member, First Time Out, RRA LAR-8 Varmint It is obvious that I am a fan of the Rock River as well. I shoot it in competitions from time to time and have been very pleased with it. 1/2 Moa groups are attainable with handloads. I have the 26" with a NF 5.5x22 nxs. Mine really likes...
Re: Bushnell Elite 3.5-21x50 FFP long term test Bushnell optics are good to go. I have several of their older 4200 models, and a couple 6500 models. I have ran the turrets out to 1000 and back many times. Very good return to zero, nice and clear optics. Yes, they have a lifetime warranty.
Re: Reliable 30mm scope rings/bases I use the Burris Xtreme Tactical. They are very solid. Heaviest caliber I have used them for is .308, but I have several sets and zero problems. The only thing that sucks is the 12 screws... Makes for a long mounting process.
Re: RRA LAR-8 JAMMING Diaper, My rifle was misfeeding the last round. The bullet tip would lodge to the left or right of the chamber without any of the cartridge entering the chamber. The problems surfaced again after the switch to the polymer mag. It even started happening mid-magazine...
Re: why wont factory remington shoot tight groups? My 700p .308 started life around 2 moa. I tried every bullet and scope I could think of. Changed bases twice, and rings too! I called them and asked if this rifle had a garantee and they told me to send it in. They found that they had...
Re: Rock River polymer 308 mags I got two of them in from RR a month/two ago. They fit nicely in my lar 8 26", but real tight in my lar 8 16". Would not drop free in the 16". They are pretty ugly, but do look durable. Shot about 75 rounds through them in 5 shots/reload. Not a single...
Re: Colt 6724 upper vs. Bushmaster Varminter? Had a bushmaster varminter 24" and could not get it to shoot sub moa no matter what I tried. Had Bushmaster rebarrel it to the 20" predator, and it did not shoot either. I can say that after 1000 rounds through the varminter without one failure...
Re: I need schooling on triggers I have installed and used all of the following. Geissele SSA-E, Bushmaster 2 stage match, Rock River 2 stage match, Chip mcormick, and Jewel. My favorite trigger is either the Geissele or the Rock River 2 stage. Both are very nice. Both dropped in easily...

Re: Les Baer 308 Match vs RRA 308 Varmint A4 The FA is nice to have if you want to strip off the first round quietly and make sure it chambers. Damn right. Very useful when hunting!
Re: Just call me a goober.... I seated some bullets without powder in cases once... Only did about three. The reason I caught myself is I could hear the difference when I put the cartridges in the ammo box. They made a vivid ding rather than a boring clank. We have to pay attention, this is...
