    Colt Slick Side A1 Uppers

A friend has a line on "several" of these, and I'm wondering if there is any demand for them for "retro" AR builds. He also has some of the original 1\12 twist skinny Colt barrels with the three prong hiders. And original triangular handguards, as well as fixed stocks with hard rubber butt pad...

Rifle Scopes First PST came in!!!

Re: First PST came in!!! Finally got my PST, the 6-24X FFP MOA. I feel as if I've swindled someone. I had high expectations but this optical sight far exceeds them. That is why I didn't say scope, this is so much more than just another "scope"! Crystal clear, bright and true colours, and...

    Rifle Scopes Vortex Viper Quality

Re: Vortex Viper Quality I have one (6.5X20)with the bdc reticle on a .308 and it performs all I ask of it. Holds zero, adjusts accurately and repeatably, plenty bright and clear, great workmanship. My experience with this one is what gave me the confidence to purchase a PST...

Freebore on my SPS Tactical... (corrected)

Re: Freebore on my SPS Tactical... My 308 SPS had .200" freebore in the factory chamber. I set the barrel back and rechambered with a PTG match reamer that has .089" freebore. Now I can build loads to seat the bullets just off the lands and still load them in the magazine.

Rifle Scopes Vortex PST 6-24 FFP vs NF F1 3.5-15

Re: Vortex PST 6-24 FFP vs NF F1 3.5-15 I'd like to see some quotient which utilizes the expenditure and true value... but therein lies the rub. Each values different things. Clarity for some, durability for others, reticle choices, brand recognition, warranty, etc., etc....

    Remington 700 sps

Re: Remington 700 sps Have the freebore measured, most of those have 200 thousandths of freebore and bullets can\should be seated waaay out. Or you could have it rechambered and crowned, action trued, lugs lapped, bedded in a new stock for the full treatment. It will shoot, you'll just have...

Re: New 6XC by CCR First trip to the range today. I was going to post the target but didn't know how you all would feel about that since I shot three shot groups. I haven't even done any load developement yet and really wanted to shoot just to zero the scope. I had twelve rounds loaded up...
