    Re: Looong solid bullet.. Opinions? Hi Giles Fastex's advice is sound, or you'll need something like a hornady aol gauge. The bands are needed due to the bullet being made of brass or an alloy of same and a little harder on the bore then copper. I would look at some of the other solid bullet...
