Yes, liked the AI thombhole stock over AX pistol grip. AW is a classic with a unique design, had to go with that. Was on my wishlist for several years.
Thanks for the offer, but the Spuhr mount is already paid for and on its way. I like the idea of the integral bubble level in the mount. I got a second AI bi-pod in the kit for some unknown reason (freebie!), I'll sell that off and the old AI mount to offset the costs. Probably come out on top...
I think I found my solution to the scope problem. I contacted Spuhr, and about 10 mins later the owner said it was no problem on their mounts. What a relief! I'll have to get some better photos up when I get the system put together
Just brought home my brand new AI AW 26" 308. Got all the goodies with it too. Was a long time coming, it was on order for about 10 months! Late 2012 production. The stock looks updated, and the muzzle break is a dual chamber over the older single chamber. Just a few questions: -I noticed...
Does anybody know of any single rifle soft cases with 2 sided internal molle? I have searched for hours and only have been able to find a single rifle case with 1 sided molle on the inside. Want to make it so when I open the case everything I need is on the inside.
I'm happy to say that I've finally got an AIAW on order I'd like to purchase a soft case for her when she comes but don't know which size I should get. I need to know what the overall length is of the AIAW .308 with 26" barrel and the stock folded. I tried doing some research on the...

Re: Experience with SIG 550 N133 69 gr. Sierra MK The europa sport is made by SAR no? I'm not sure if they use an original Swiss Arms barrel. With my Swiss barrel on my Swiss Arms (mine is 1 in 10 twist. Most are this twist) I get good results (.75-1.15 MOA 5/shots 100m) with the lighter...
Re: Owned a Kahles or have Opinion? Please Help! Forgot to chime in!!! I'm out of the country but I'm told the scope is amazing!!! My brother could see a picture handging in someone's apartment over 1km away... in the dark!!!
Re: Owned a Kahles or have Opinion? Please Help! This is a bit of a bump, but I recently purchased a Kalhes K418 Competition Scope with target turrets. It should be inbound next week!!
Re: AI-AE @ 300 yds report Have any paper targets? Any time anybody asks about groups, everyone comes in with how it's not a rifle to shoot groups with These are the only targets I have been able to find. http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=974397#Post974397
Re: FS2000 I've never handled one or seen one but I have heard on ppl comment that have. I heard that some people really don't like the design. The two polymer sides screw into each other like a walmart toy, and the mag-well o-ring that prevents grit from getting into the action is a real...
I posted this on another forum, but I know that many here have extensive expirience with the AW, and maybe could shed some opinions. I am looking at picking up one of the two within the coming months. Anybody have expirience with both? Any opinions? I like the durability, folding stock and...
Re: What makes an AW ideal for cold weather? Oh, so the only real functional difference between the two is the extended mag release. I don't know why anybody would get a AW after the AE MKII comes out...
I know they have a bolt with small channels cut into it, to give it less surface area for icing, and a exteneded magazine release, but it that it? Could you upgrade an AE with those simple things, say by getting a gunsmith to partially flute the bolt and order in a spare extended mag release?
Re: New! PGM rifles in the USA Well, if the B&T APR is any idication, these rifles are very expensive. I was curious to see what the cost of the B&T APR was, and I was quoted between $8500 and $8800 depending on the kit. Kit does not include optics. And this was when the Canadian dollar was...
