    Which action is the s-m-o-o-t-h-e-s-t...?

Re: Which action is the s-m-o-o-t-h-e-s-t...? Of all the actions I have used or tried, my AI is the smoothest, including my TRG 22 which is also very smooth. The 60 degree bolt throw is also a bonus and the two stage trigger is very nice. I have tried lots of actions over the years on work...

Range Report Entering below sea level DA into Shooter.

Re: Entering below sea level DA into Shooter. I understand what you are saying. Unfortunately I can't do that I don't believe due to the fact that its on an Ipod touch that doesn't have the ability to access the internet in the field. I was just wondering if the program will recognize the...

Range Report Entering below sea level DA into Shooter.

This may sound like a stupid question but does Shooter recognize below sea level density altitude. The reason for asking is I was out shooting yesterday and my Kestrel showed a DA of in excess of -500 feet. I entered -500 into the DA box but the results were quite a bit off from I Snipe which I...

    Manfrotto tripod suggestions

Re: Manfrotto tripod suggestions I have a 190XPROB and it works great. After attending a sniper concentration and seeing them used we decided to outfit our snipers with them. Its used for our Mark 4 spotters and as a rifle rest in conjunction with cradles we got from Precision Rifle...

    hs precision worst stock ever

Re: hs precision worst stock ever I wouldn't give HS a red cent. I have seen numerous HS stocks with loose swivel studs and have seen them break away from the stock. This was on work rifles and also on one that I owned personnaly. I called HS and spoke to Donny who said the problem was...

    Sierra or Berger?

Re: Sierra or Berger? I shot both Berger 175 LRBT and 175 SMK out of my AI and the SMK's shot just as well. Its a field rifle not an BR gun and the SMK's were more tolerant to seating depth as well. At long range will it make a difference, I don't think with all the variables involved, I dont...

Do I resize new Lapua brass?

Re: Do I resize new Lapua brass? I didn't do anything with the .308 brass except run a couple through the neck sizer that had dinged necks. Apart from that, I just loaded and shot and was very happy with the results.

    308 - 175SMK vs. Hornady 178BTHP

Re: 308 - 175SMK vs. Hornady 178BTHP I think you should try them as every rifle is different. My AI really shoots the 175 SMK but the 178 BTHP not as good. Is it going to make a difference at long range with all the other variables that come into play,I am not convinced but that is only my...

Balance beam scale, which is best

Re: Balance beam scale, which is best I have a Redding Model 2 beam scale and it's dead nuts accurate and fast to settle in. When fine tuning, each kernel affects it so you can weigh your charge to the last drop so to speak.I use it in conjunction with the Redding 3 BR Powder measure which...

    Remington LTR question

Re: Remington LTR question I don't think the LTR's ever came with 40x triggers. We have them as work guns and and were not happy with them overall. Maybe for a hunting rifle or something to bang steel with but for an operational gun, not. We are switching to a PGWDTI Coyote, more money but you...

Recommended torque fro AI AE MK II action screws.
