So yeah, the sig kilo 3000 comes with no lens caps, no rainguards, and some funky open sided case. Verified that vortex viper hd 10x42 lens caps will work, but the rainguard is too tight to slip over the eyepieces on the kilo. I put my calipers on them and got around 1.865” or 47.39mm...

I haven’t seen rubbing alcohol on store shelves since February. Do any of you have suggestions for a substitute for cleaning sizing lube residue off cases? I guess I could throw prepped brass into the tumbler a second time, but I’m a creature of habit and it would throw off my routine.

Could I run a magnetospeed at 3:00 or 9:00 on my rifle? I have a bipod mounted underneath, its a 15” handguard with a 16” barrel so the strappy thing is out. I could shoot off a tripod and mount it at 6:00, but then I’d have to pull the bipod off.
