So long story short, I went shooting last weekend and well, didn't get to shoot. The bolt would not lock with a round in it, it will cycle fine without one etc, just not with one. A while back I sent the bolt out to get fluted, that's the only thing that changed... I shot this gun a lot years...
Ive had this for a while now and well time to get a cover for it. Im tired of messing with the stock one. Triad Tactical makes on but looks to be out of stock still and its been for a while. With that said, does anyone else know of someone that makes them? Maybe you have one you'll sell? Does...
I tired to do a search but thing got mixed up with the search terms - so Im posting for some help guys. Im looking for a suppressor cover that wont move much or at all - hopefully. Its a 308 bolt action so rate of fire isnt that high, but Id prefer to not send it down range either. you guys...
Whats up all. Ive finally gotten back into shooting and well my solvents, oils etc are pretty old now. Sure they may be still okay, but I thought with technogloy and all, there has to be something out there better than what I have... Im going to need it all again. I might even get new jags and...
First off this is for a buddy, not me. He wants a Nightforce NXS scope, but cannot front the money just yet. I was telling him about the Falcon Menace scope, but I dont know if its still a viable option... I remember reading about them a while back and people were saying that they were decent...
Im trying to find some American Flag stickers that are white and black and or OD green and white. I want them under 5x3", as thats all I see on Fleabay...
I was just looking around the different forums I get on, and from time to time I always run into the meplat tools that reshape or re-cone the point making it, supposedly, more accurate and a better BC... Are they worth messing with? I think I also seen a vendor on here that does it and doesnt...
Im looking for some pointers on which barrel to go with. I shoot 175gr SMKs and the max I would shoot would be 1000ish. I dont think 175s can be pushed much further... Im new to shooting so learning on the way. Ive shot out to 1061yds using FGMM before. The reason I want a new barrel is to...
I have a rem 700 in 308 with a shillen bbl. I plan on buying a suppressor soon and I want to get the threads verified as being true etc for a TB suppressor. But j figured while it was there, I could get the action trued and whatever else to the bolt... I'm just wondering who the go to guy is for...
I'm currently on my cell and won't have any time soon to get on a desktop. What I was wondering is, is there any good stickies in choosing the right suppressor? I want one so I can shoot on my property, but I dont know if a suppressor will actually work that well on non-subsonic rounds. Thanks...
I have used 210m primers before but someone local has some #34 CCIs... I was wondering if the primer would alter the round THAT much? possible? Would the #34s work on a 308 that goes out to 1000yds? Im pushing a 175 SMK, and still trying to figure out my grain count...
I have the LEE universal decapping die. I dont want to run the die in my Forster Co-Ax, so Im looking for a cheap press solely for the decapper. I seen that cheap 45-50 buck LEE press, but do they track accurately and straight to align the decapping pin in the primer pocket?
With all of the talk about electrical interference with scales, what do you use? Can fluorescent lighting be used but at a certain distance from scales? Sure you can use led but expensive. Incandescent is nice but more expensive to run versus fluorescent .
I know the first difference in them is the distance. But it seems the Bushnell line is underrated and can reach out further then spec'ed, though Im not relying on that. I want a RF that can get out to 1000yds w/o issues nor being finicky. I was browsing ebay and see the Bushnell Elite ARC (...
I have a co-ax and when I FL resize when the sizing motion gets towards the bottom I feel a "hump " as the action ends. Its hard to explain, but when Im at the bottom/completed the resizing, I feel like a bump, or like something rolled over a detent ( though there isnt one.... ) What Im...
I posted a thread about the forster lathe style cutters, and I thought they were more popular. So with that being said, what do you use to trim your brass, chamfer and deburr? I forgot to add this is for precision 308 loads.
Im after a better trimmer then the RCBS hand chamfer/deburr tool with the drill attachment. I was looking at the forster trimmer with the 3 in 1 cutter. Is it really that easy, accurate and it does all three functions in one? Seems like it would replicate each trim/chamfer and make them damn...
