    I have a Tavor with the mepro light sight and love it! The trigger is not the greatest but to be honest i don't use it for precision shooting so i hardly notice, i have found the rife is pretty accurate.

    I have a custom shop P229 in 9mm and love it. A friend of mine has the P226 navy which i have shot and was really impressed the only thing i would consider is the application of the pistol the 226 is rather large.

    I would not rush and spend your $1000 I'd save more money then sell your scope and buy a very quality scope. If there is one thing to not limit your self on its optics.
