I just recieved my 10 rd AI mag. It sits in my badger M5 bottom metal. Here is the problem, when i load it up to capacity, and rack the first round into the chamber all goes just fine. Then when it comes to the second round, its like the magazine moved and is bound up in the well of the rifle...
I've left word for Glenn at his shop, but was wondering if the .308 mag system has the same "footprint" as the .223 mag system? In other words, If I have a manners stock inlet for the .308 mag system, but want to change the rifle to a .223ai, will the Seekins 223 mag system work?
Wondering how good it is. I have 3 cases + open case of it but have never have used it. Lucked into a bunch of reloading gear and brass at a yard/estate sale last summer.
I know its poosible to convert an 06 to a 308 but what about an 06 to a 300wm? the gun is a rem 700. could you just get a new barrel? what would need to be in order for this to work?
Part 2 in the series. The "Cheap No-Drill" way works well; I used it for a while, scratched my gun up another time or 2 and said OK, I guess I can drill a hole in it now, I'm gonna keep it. Get your parts. 1. An 8-32 x 3/8" long socket head cap screw (longer can be cut to length) 2. An 8-32...
Part 1 in my series....:D 2 ways to make a mag release extension for an Anschutz 64, I'm sure many other .22's could be done this way, also. 2 ways because some of you won't want to drill a hole in your new $1000 rifle, at least until you get a few scratches on it, like me. First the no...
I found a couple thousand of these primers. Magtech 5 1/2 SP Mag Primer. I several of them don't go off the first time. I try to fire then again and after 2-3 hammer strikes the fire. Once in a while I run across one that wont fire at all. At first I thought maybe it was my 642 (though I...
I hope my google-fu is weak but I haven't found what I am looking for. I have a .308 rifle that is built off of a Sako action and I would like to add a detachable magazine to it. I haven't found any Sako kits, so plan B is to figure out what existing magazine conversion kits are closest to...
Going through some old supplies--ammo and such that's been in the family for a while. I found this mag and was wondering if anyone knew the gun it went to and what the mag is worth. It says: "Belgium 308 243" Looks like a 5 rounder, but don't hold me to that.
Does anybody know what the load is that Black Hills uses in their 190 grain match load for a 300 win mag. I figure a 190 grain Sierra Match king, their own brass and probably a powder not available to reloaders but what primer?? Federal 215 GM?? Thanks for the info if anybody knows
hey guys i was wondering if there was anything i could do to stop a .300 mag bullet wile sighting in my rifle.Iwas wondering if a 1/2 inch piece of steel for part of my backstop would slow it down. im sighting in at 100yrds.
I have a 3.5-15x50mm and 5.5-22x56. I recently bought a new 2.5-10x32 compact and the magnification driection is reversed. Instead of turning clockwise like the 3.5 and 5.5, the 2.5 you turn counter clockwise to increase magnificaton. Also, after a while I liked how the whole ocular bell...
Hello, I have and AICS 1.5 on a remington 700 PSS. However, testing it out I noticed that feeding from the magazine results in my bullets being scraped along the feeding ramp and i have to apply a generous amount of force to get it up the ramp. Manually loading the chamber is no problem with...
Gents, I've picked up a IMI Timberwolf in .357 Mag with a 20" bbl. I'm considering using this as a close range hunting rifle, pigs and deer. I'm interested in others hunting experience with this caliber. It seems the extra barrel length adds a lot of potency. Thanks Rath
