Mine shoots very well.

At the end of sighting it in, the last 8 rounds were in a 1.125" spread. I didn't have the gun rested well firing off a bipod and free holding the other end so I feel certain most of this variance was me simply pulling off.

I'm beginning to believe in the BSF carbon sleeved barrel I bought. That, and the scope.

I’ve been on the hunt for many years now for a single rifle that will truly “Do it all.” Bedside CQB/Home defense, long range shooting, night ‘yote/pig hunting, Tule Elk hunting — everything!

I didn’t think it possible, but it’s finally here!!!

Here are just two of the many quick-switch mission adaptable loadouts you can use on this extremely versatile platform.

First-up (first 2 faux toes) is configured for bedside Home Defense / CQB. It’s practically hearing-safe when used unsuppressed indoors and zero worries about overpenetration:

The .50 BMG round is virtually indistinguishable physically from your standard 5.56/.223 round, but packs 11% more muzzle energy. Let’s see if you can tell which round is which here:

Like I said, identical!

The next loadout is designed specifically for hunting the invasive predatory species known as “coyotes.” Don’t you worry, it may not look like it, but let me tell you, the .50 BMG round *is* capable of bringing down ‘yotes, and there’s very little report to wake the neighbors in your homeowners’ association.

Coyotes, possums, raccoons and large rodents are easy pickins with this lightweight, wieldy rifle platform — the Barrett M107A1.

Sweet. Thats the B&T TP9 right? How do you like it and what loads you running in it?

yes, it's a TP9. and I love it. so far it's been reliable with a steady diet of 115 & 124 ball ammo. I've read about people having feeding issues with hollow points, but I haven't had those issues.

Broke "Pedro" in yesterday.

I had a bunch of different match 175 HPBT bullets and some left over Varget from a testing another 308 bolt and loaded them at 2.800" at around 2400 FPS. Mixed brass of FC, LC, RP and Hornady., all fully processed. Apparently I got lucky and tuned the load well. Brass was dropping 3 feet right and 2 feet forward. Every spent round landed in my rifle case by chance.

This is a dream to shoot. Last 5 rounds with iron sights @100 yards off my range bag.

Apologies for not replying to this sooner.

It shoots very, very well. Several hundred rounds of various weights from 120gr up to 147gr and manufacturers Hornady and S&B so far and not one hiccup. The accuracy is sub MOA with the Hornady Match and really, if I were a better shot, I think with the S&B as well.

Loving this barrel and scope in addition to the Aero Precision U/L.

Yes, I had to search for a handguard long enough that was in stock. This is a Leapers 17.4".

Ok I would like to join the ranks with some Sigs. Swiss 551 with 556 lower and the other 556s. Painted rifle has rail gone as it chewed the holes up and would no long stay attached. Sig Saur gave me a new 516 to make up for it. Very nice of them.

How long is your barrel? I'm looking at building a large frame AR in 7mm-08 with a 20" barrel. I was considering rifle length +2, but can't find reliable info on gas systems/port size for this caliber. Any ideas?

This is a plus 1 gas system. I had Craddock Precision decide on port size after telling them it was suppressed and shooting 150gr to 162gr bullets. It works perfectly. I suggested +2 gas but Paul said it wasn't necessary. Try calling Craddock Precision and get their advice. They did great by me.
