My wife has a sig 239 9mm, and I'm trying to figure out the best way for her to carry it. She's been to Front Sight, so she knows how to use it. The purse is not an option because of lack of positive control (we have 4 kids). She's 5'7" and about 140lbs (don't tell her I posted that). At this point, I'm thinking belly bag. What have others had success with?

Thanks

Re: CCW Carry options for wife?

I have that frame for carry in .40S&W and use a Kramer Paddle holster. It's the most comfortable I've found and like how high it keeps the gun for cover under sweatshirt, etc. That said, it's still bulky.

My wife's wardrobe is mostly sweatpants-type material, which wouldn't hold up to a paddle holster. So if your wife's daily wear is anything like my wife's, then yeah, I think she's belly-baggin' it.

I don't think the tunderwear is my wife's style, but I'll show them to her. She seems to like the Milt Sparks VM2 IWB, so we'll give that a try. Now for the 6 month wait.
