DeLane Dev Grp V-22S Single Shot Support

Hi Stephen, I was hoping for a way that did not require all the machinest tools. If I want to know to that accuracy, I will have to spend some money. Thanks for the pictures it lets me know what I need to buy for my rabbit hole.
It's not terribly expensive. Here's an option for you:

Quick Update:

Receiver Wrenches:
For those that have been waiting for the Gen 3 RH Receiver Wrenches; first, thank you for being patient, it truly means a lot. The Gen 3 RH Receiver Wrenches, PLUS Gen 3 LH, Gen 1 RH and LH and Gen 2 RH and LH, are headed to me right now. I'll post pics when they arrive and anything not already sold will be in stock.

Gen 2/Gen 3 Cocking Pieces, Single Screw:
They're in the same shipment with the Receiver Wrenches. I've received lots of outreach from folks that have been experiencing the loosening of the screws in the two-screw cocking piece. For those that missed the post about this, the loosening is caused by a crack that forms between the two screw holes due to a thin wall condition. This issue can affect some later Gen 2 and many Gen 3 actions, including builds from Masterpiece Arms. I'll have a large inventory of Single Screw Cocking Pieces within another few days. Two-screw, bad. Single-screw, good.

V-Series Magazines:
The LRIP for the V2210 is moving along very well and I'll have parts to show very soon. Thankfully, there's a sizable interest in the V-Series and X-Series Magazines, and I'm incredibly pleased with how this project has come together. Stay tuned for more info.

Standard M5 and M5x DBMs:
As I mentioned a few updates ago, once the V-Series Mags started LRIP, the DBMs would be folded in and this schedule is running perfectly on-time. If there's an interest in a Pre-Order for DBMs, please let me know and I'll work on the timing to get a Pre-Order started.

www.delanedevgroup.net :
We're already a bit beyond the first few drafts of the new website and I'll say that I'm blessed to have people that want to be a part of how all this is coming together. We don't have a launch date yet, but I'll keep everyone posted.

Mike I know you make a lot of tools for your rifles. I would like to propose you make a tool that slips over the exposed bolt end where pin sticks out. This tool will need to allow a .0001 dial to be attached and to register on exploded end of firing pin.
How this will work: at range load rifle and cock then decock. Now measure the depth of exposed end of pin and adjust dial to zero then cock and fire rifle. Now remeasure bolt pins end at fired location the reading on dial would be pin hit depth.
Hope I made sense of this tools description.
Would this work or am I missing something?
This would allow us to tune pin strike at range.
I agree to #3046, and consistency being the ultimate goal.

StephenT, I agree. I have tried multiple ways with a depth gauge using that procedure on a spent casing, could not get reliable readings. Maybe a modified shroud that a depth gauge could rest/attach on for reliable reading.

A useful tool indeed, but I’m pretty deep in action development and other projects, so not likely to get such a tool for quite some time.

I have the first 1000 Main Spring Kits in inventory.

In case you've missed prior posts about the replacement Main Springs (Firing Pin Spring), I have the first 1000 kits in stock.

Included in the kit is:

15 lbf--Green
16 lbf--Orange
17 lbf--Red
18 lbf--Purple
19 lbf--Blue
20 lbf--Yellow
22 lbf--No Color (standard spring)

I'm doing these kits as part of what it means to fine tune the fire control system. They work hand-in-hand with the adjustable Cocking Piece to deliver the correct amount of needed energy to the case rim.

Anyone interested in a kit, shoot an email to [email protected].

I assume those that already “pre-ordered” are being shipped soon?

Hey Guys, sorry for the radio silence, it's been crazy, and sorry this is so long, but there's a lot to share to catch everyone up. For some, it may be a TLDR post.

As one might imagine, things have been a little crazy with magazines in production, along with a vast number of other parts, packing and shipping parts and continuing development on other projects. So, I'm a bit past due on providing an update and taking an opportunity to answer some of the FAQs I receive on a daily basis.

Parts Kits
I get a lot of questions about Parts Kits, and I get it, it has taken a while to force everything to move in the same direction all at once. As many of you know, as has been indicated by the number of orders I've received and shipped, I've had plenty of the DDG-G2G3-60DCP (Gen2/Gen3 60 Degree Cocking Piece) and have just under 200 left in stock. I'm placing another order next week.

I also have around 900 Main Spring Kits in stock and continuing to receive orders for these, along with the Extractor/Pusher Spring Kit (roughly 1000 E/P Spring Kits in stock).

Later next week, I'm expecting:

100--DDG-G2G3-FP--Gen 2 Gen 3 Firing Pin (Repeater)
100--DDG-G3FP-SS--Gen 3 Firing Pin (Single Shot)
200--DDG-PLUNG-V22--Extractor/Pusher Plunger
And 100 each of all flavors of threaded pins for the Bolt Stops (Gen 1/Gen 1.2, Gen 2 and Gen 3) and Anti-Rotation Threaded Pins for the Gen 2 and Gen 3 actions.

Now, this brings me to what's about to start production:

Bolt Shrouds
Bolt Shrouds for Gen 1.2 and Gen 2/Gen 3 actions are in the early throws of production. I currently have no plans of making the original Gen 1 Bolt Shroud, Cocking Piece and Firing Pin due to the pinned-in-place cocking piece.

Anyone needing to replace those parts in your Gen 1 can upgrade to the Gen 1.2, which provides the advantages of using the Gen 2/Gen 3 Adjustable Cocking Piece and Firing Pin.

I have designed a Bolt Disassembly Tool (pictured below) for the Gen 1.2, but it also works on Gen 2 and Gen 3, Repeater and Single Shot. It will go into production next week.

There will be Right Hand and Left Hand Bolt Shrouds as depicted in the rendering below.

Extractors/Pushers
The Extractors and Pushers have been wire cut for quite a while and waiting on a secondary op to be performed on a machine that hasn't arrived/been set up yet. I'll let everyone know as soon as they're available.

Bolt Stop Kits
The Bolt Stops for Gen 1, Gen 2 and Gen 3 were held up, so I'm making some adjustments and they're going into production alongside the Bolt Shrouds. I will have all the threaded pins for these next week and I've had springs in stock for a while.

Next Week
I'll be at the machines all next week finalizing a number of things on the V-Series Magazine production; the 10 round is in production now.

I'll provide updates nearly real-time so everyone can follow along. After the first 500 V-Series 10 round mags are completed, the 15 round V-Series will start, followed by the 12 round, then the 17 round. I have 5000 10 round springs in stock with another 5000 being made and I have first article samples of the 12, 15, and 17 round springs to perform final validation.

So, all the balls are still in the air and mostly, all projects are moving in parallel. If I've been a little slow to answer some emails, it's likely due to me missing it because of the barrage of emails and questions I receive, so if you don't hear back from me within a day, hit me again and I promise I'll get to you.

Thanks,
MB
