Here's 2 excellent articles that anyone starting to load their own Subsonic ammo should read and understand. I'd suggest we sticky this thread just like the handloading threads that break down loading step by step.

These are not the "be all, end all" of articles for subsonics, however, it gives a good explanation of a lot about the topic. I didn't write them, I have no affiliation with the authors, however, when my dad and I started playing with subsonics in ~ 2004 we did some internet reading, took some books out on Inter-Library Loan, and stumbled through the experimentation ourselves.
