Report: Suzanne Somers Dead at 76

Our beloved "Chrissy" has passed away due to breast cancer. figures...

RIP Chrissy.

Shoulder bump inconsistent infrequently

I'm trying to track down what is going on with some irregularity in my resizing process.
I have a bullet central sizing die for my 300 Norma, I'm using a redding t7, I set my die up to the headspace I'm looking for, locked it down, use Hornady case lube, and size 100 pieces of brass. 90 of those pieces are within a half thousandth to a thou of each other, but 10 pieces were three thousandths shorter than the shortest of the rest of them. Is there anything obvious that I should be looking for? I generally like to test the first few pieces and then just keep moving with my process, but this is giving me trust issues lol.

Fix It Sticks, do yours click loud?

Recently bought a Fix It Sticks tool kit with individual torque limiters, plus a 140 in-lb unit. These were purchased directly from the manufacturer.

There is barely any audible click from them when reaching the torque limit. They do spin, so they appear to be working properly. All their advertising, including a YouTube video demonstrates a very audible click.

I just attempted to contact them again, with no response the first time.

Anyone out there with a similar experience?

Optics Free to someone who can use it: Cabelas Brand 3-12x40mm scope with rings

I honestly don't even remember what this was on when I picked it up. I already have a decent scope on my 22 so this will sit here and never get used. If you have a use for it, it's all yours. Just shoot me like $15 for shipping if that's OK with you.

Comes with a set of X-high 6-screw rings. Looks like weaver or the similar cheaper rings.

Well that’s “convenient”

She many indeed have had a drug problem, or maybe even died suddenly from you know “unknown causes “ like so many millions of others the last few years.
Or maybe “Clinton’’d” or I guess “Epstine’d”.
One of the red flags at least for me was almost a year long investigation to conclude accidental overdose . Or maybe it was and in my book rich elite international child sex traffickers killed her all the same .

But any day now I’m confident that joint law enforcement task forces around the country will start arresting people from the infamous client list , you know the people that payed money to travel to a tropical island to Fuck kids . Any day.

Light weight bolt carriers effect on felt recoil

For those who have actually experimented with reduced mass or light weight bolt carriers, how much difference in felt recoil is there from reducing the bolt carrier weight by 2 ounces? Can you actually tell the difference?

Assuming acceleration of 100m/s2, a 2 ounce mass will produce about .57 kilogram-force which sounds like it would be a discernible difference in felt recoil but without real world experience, it's hard to say.

For context, I currently run a JP Ultra LMOS aluminum bolt carrier in a competition rifle with tuned gas system and JP captured recoil spring and am wondering what would happen, exclusively from a felt recoil perspective, if I go to a titanium bolt carrier that is 2oz heavier. I know I would have to re-tune the gas system and potentially the recoil spring. That's fine. Just wondering how much impact it would have on felt recoil from adding the 2 ounces.

One of the truly great pistol shooters in the country has passed.

Phil Hemphill has died, he was the 10 time National Police champion and a two-time Bullseye pistol champion. I had the pleasure of shooting next to him many times over the years at Camp Perry. I scored him when he won the Distinguished Revolver one year. He was nice to everyone who ever walked up and wanted to say Hi.

SOLD Tikka T3X Compact 223

For sale is a tikka t3x compact right hand in 223. I purchased this rifle brand new. It has 250 rounds down it. Comes with box and all factory accessories. The action was used in another stock that I had so this stock has never been used, hence the stickers are still on it. I do not need 2-223’s in my life. This one shot well with factory ammo and it seems to like 80gr eldms and varget. It was left over load I had for another rifle, so no load development was done. Also I did decent with 73 Eldm hornady ammo.

Asking $675 shipped to your FFL. In you’re in the houston, TX are we can do face to face at a lower cost but you will need a LTC and we will do a bill of sale.
Preferred payment is PayPal FF discrete, Venmo, or usps MO.

Clemson ‘LGBTQIA+’ Students March for Return of Tampons to Men’s Bathrooms

Clemson University students are protesting against the removal of menstrual products from men’s restrooms on campus and demanding repercussions towards the College Republicans for their “role in the tampons’ removal.”
In September, a post on X from the South Carolina university’s College Republicans group apparently contributed to the quiet removal of tampon and pad dispensers from the school’s men’s bathrooms.
“If you weren’t aware already, Clemson University has tampon/pad dispensers in the MEN’S restrooms located in Cooper Library,” the club wrote, adding that the inclusion of female hygiene products in the men’s room is proof of a “clown world.”

We truly live in world. pic.twitter.com/hjXk9ZQVRF
— Clemson College Republicans (@ClemsonCRs) September 14, 2023
On Wednesday, about 50 students marched across campus “to demand that menstrual products be returned to men’s bathrooms in Cooper Library and that the Clemson College Republicans be reprimanded for their role in the tampons’ removal,” the College Fix reported.
While Clemson hosts a “Take Back Pride” march every year, the organizers made it clear that this time around it was in protest of the decision to remove the feminine hygiene items from men’s spaces.
“Today, we are marching for the reinstatement of the menstrual products in the men’s restrooms in Cooper Library and throughout campus,” announced Pan Tankersley, the main student organizer of the event.
Another student addressed protesters at a rally before the march:
“Queer people on this campus are not just going to magically disappear. So instead of working against us, like taking away menstrual products from the men’s bathrooms, making people feel unwelcomed, there should be support for the community that is already fighting to feel safe here.”
A Take Back Pride Instagram post lists their complaints in an infographic, claiming that the criticism from the conservative student group prompted the product dispensers in the men’s restrooms to be vandalized with “hateful slurs towards the transgender community” before the university removed “all traces of their existence.”
They went on to demand “formal repercussions towards the Clemson College Republicans for contributing to a campus climate that encourages transphobic rhetoric and jeopardizes the safety of LGBTQIA+ students.”
In response to the Take Back Pride protest, the College Republicans tabled across the street to counter the group’s demands.
“It’s unfair that they’re taking that (free menstrual products) away from females,” Bailey Nye, social chair of the group, told the College Fix. “Taking the tampons from the majority of people who actually use them is wrong.”

What is truly sad about this is the fact that it makes national news.
