Suppressors Suppressor mounting preferences and advice

Hello there Gents,
I'm looking to take advantage of others experience with suppressor mounts, because I have none on my own.

First some background-
I am about to order my first suppressor. I do plan on getting more in the future, but it's going to take a while to do that...years... but I want to maintain some universality in regards to a mounting system. It's going to be a Thunderbeast Magnus or dominus. Other brands later are on the table as well. The use case is strictly bolt gun use for target, hunting, and match use, with the potential to dabble in ar platforms later, but currently have no plans for that so honestly in my mind ar platforms use is not a concern.
I have and thoroughly enjoy multiple area 419 hellfire brakes and am in the process of converting the rest over that currently aren't. I like the ability to take a brake on or off without much hassle if I want to shoot suppressed and then switch to a different rifle and shoot that other one suppressed, ie mix and match however/whenever. I don't like installing brakes constantly so that is part of the draw to the area 419 system.

The question-
With the above background in mind is there another (read: better) way to mount my cans to the end on my boomsticks than the area 419 system? So far Area 419's stuff checks all my boxes, I think. The problem is I'm new to suppressors and I honestly don't even know if I know about all the boxes to check!
I know there was a lot of chatter when tbac said they were adding the hub mount option. Area 419 is a cb mount option if I understand correctly.

So TLDR hub vs cb? Area 419 vs other? What and why?

To be clear I am currently leaning in to area 419 pretty hard, but don't want to make the wrong choice in the long run if a different mounting system would serve my purposes better. Thanks!

Travel warning - Florida

Living and breathing in such safe bergs as New Jerk City, Chtashgo, and Needs to be Washed-ington DC is definitely a wonderful safe thing to do, but even setting one foot in a red state such as Florida with its Non-Woke, non democratic governor, is all but a guarantee of instant death.

Anyone else heard of this?

Canada, alphabet sex deviants, and the NAACP all recommend not to travel to that very dangerous state.

They are ramping up the bot attacks

Hey guys,

My system is noticing an increase in bots, scammers, etc for this weekend

They numbers jumped up and we are noticing more and more bots have just showed up

Also we had a big increase in reports that were valid (Yes, thank you, perfect, those messages to you are fake)

The Regime has probably changed tactics a bit to curtail our online activity, they are in total shoot the messenger mode and also, they are trying to frame outlaw sites (Like SH ) as bad. They can't control the messenger here so they want to limit our reach and ability to say whatever we want. Yes I absolutely believe this domestic, the TOR numbers have increased 10 fold, that means US shit to harm us, not overseas.

What is their goal, chaos, disruption, headache, if you feel this place sucks because of the change in activity you will stop coming. This is an anti patriot campaign, because we don't censor you all like that, we are fringe, outlaw and not controllable, so instead just break it so nobody wants to use it

Stay safe, be vigilant and use the report button

Movie Theater Oh shit? There goes the franchise…

This deserved its own thread.

Not that any of the movies have been decent since Disney… but who predicts that this will be a totally woke bomb?

Everybody? Right ? Bueller? Bueller?

Let’s hear it for the most important part of making the movie… the director will be a semi-swarthy broad. Yup, that’s how I choose movies.

Disney… you are retarded at a level of epic. The. Again, one should expect this. When your whole business is about attracting kids.. where do you think the pedos and the predators and the freaks will gravitate?

They aren’t there for the movie making… they are there to prey on kids. Movies? Meh, who cares?

Aye, says here the giant crack is lubing up the fault, she may be getting ready to bust a tectonic move in the PNW, article says could cause a 9.0, but I think that estimate is low. My hunch is a solid 12.0, maybe a 12.5!!!

Badger Ordinance M2013 action...can they still be found?

My buddies finally pulled the trigger on a pair of savage chassis guns which kind of lit a fire under my butt to start thinking of building one myself. Ive always loved the M2013 action but I see theyre never in stock on Badger Ordinances website. Are they discontinued? If so how hard is it to come by one? Id prefer to find a short action for 308 or 6.5 creed. I know there are plenty of other actions widely available on the interwebs but i kinda have my heart set on a AI patterened action. TIA everyone! Im new to snipershide and so far Im amazed at how awesome this community is!

Sidearms & Scatterguns P320 ADs

Probably already late to the game (question), but why am I all of a sudden hearing these are 'out of the blue' just discharging. I don't have a link but the latest was a female detective who bent over and the firearm discharged down her leg and through her foot.

Anybody know anything more about this? I watched a YOUTUBE video from a guy saying, "It can't happen" Wondering WTF?

Shorty 223AI Builds

So @WillHugh and I sent out 223AI barreled actions to get turned down to 18" and profiled for OCM5/AEM5 suppressors. The goal was to build intermediate range, low recoil, bolt guns that bridged the gap between Mk12 gas guns and 6.5CM capabilities. If velocities of 2850fps with 80gr ELDs are achieved, the guns are transonic to 750-800 yards and supersonic past 1000.

The 223AI of mine was cut down from 24" to 18". I was running 25.6gr of Varget in Winchester brass behind Hornady 80gr ELDM and 80gr Amax. Velocity prior to the cut was 2950fps and it shot clovers at 100 yards.

Got the barreled actions back yesterday although my Manners TF3A is still with the gunsmith being inleted for a Badger EFR, so I put it in a spare Manners EH2. I did learn that I needed to dremel out the front of the Accurate metal mags to get clearance for the 80gr Amax bullets whereas the plastic MDTs have always had room.

The range trips today was promising! The rifle shot around 1/2 MOA, with 2 of the 5-shot groups a clover leaf around under .4" at 100 yards. Velocity averaged 2803fps at 87'F. The surprise for me was how high the SD was at 17. The translates to an ES of 57fps, or about 0.5 mils at 1000 yards. At 500 yards, this load is about 2.7mils of elevation and about 9.7 mils at 1000 yards.

Since I have about 60 rounds left, I plan to shoot the rest and then try some StaBall Match was had great results in my Mk12 and my Dad's .223 bolt gun. I am hoping the SD can tighten up to high single digits with velocity in the high 2800s.

Will has his rifle setup in a sweet Manners T5 and unlike me, his OCM5 isn't in NFA jail, so the rifle looks amazing.

These promise to be relatively lightweight and fun guns, looking forward to stretching them over the summer and during some night shoots.

SOLD Marlin 1895 GS 45/70

Marlin 1895 GS in 45/70. JM stamped, unfired. At the time of puchase in 2002, I had another 1895 that I shot and didn't really enjoy, so this one got no love. Fast forward almost 20 years with a renewed interest, I took it out of the box with the intention of using it, but never got past working the lever quite a bit. Apparently, another rifle got jealous because I sat it back in gen pop and found out it got in a fight with another rifle. It came out on the losing end with a few bumps and scratches on the stock, the other rifle unscathed. So much for sheltered kids growing up to be tough. Anyway, it now thinks it knows everything, is grown up, and wants to leave home, so here we are. $1300 shipped.
