SOLD ATACR 4-20x50 mil-xt (c644)

Selling a c644 4-20x50 Atacr mil-xt. Was on my hunting rifle this season so it has a few little scuffs in the finish if you look real close. Nothing serious it just isn’t mint. After hunting with it a season I found I just prefer mil-c. Comes with the box and everything a new one would. 2250.00 shipped, I can FaceTime, text more pics or chat on the phone since I don’t have a ton of feedback here (same name on other forums though). Any questions just ask. 0EB89B86-7A3D-4801-81FF-8C552B5A2D3B.jpegC49DDE5C-EC39-4511-AADC-DF35D33A33D9.jpegE32E2F12-1538-4DBD-B1AE-DAB293C95E49.jpeg

BCGs “Optimized” for Suppressors

I am in the market for a new 5.56 and .308 BCG. I will use the rifles with a suppressor 99% of the time. The rifles are an SBR 5.56 and 16” .308.

Is there anything to these suppressor optimized / enhanced BCGs?

I see the LMT, LWRC, CMC and Lantac specifically call out design enhancements that help with gas expulsion.

Anyone have experience with these? I will part with the money if the LMT is worth it but I didn’t know if anyone likes the other options out there.

Just scored a BNIB Nightforce NXS 2.5 to10x32 scope - these were discontinued 5+ years ago!!!

Yo forum - just scored a BNIB Nightforce NXS 2.5 to10x32 scope - a true cult classic in the shooting community!

Truly amazing that I was able to source one of these highly sought after optics (from the UK of all places?!) in brand new condition despite being this line of non parallax adjustable NXS scopes being discontinued 5+ years ago. The seller, Harry Ward from Sportman Gun Centre UK was an absolute professional and a pleasure to deal with (i literally emailed then called him to confirm that it was an actual NXS 2.5 to10x32 scope as listed) and he said that the NF rep somehow had one leftover which they then acquired and then sold to me here in New Zealand.

Absolutely stoked to finally have a new NF NXS #C454 in a Mildot reticle that I've been scouring the internet stores and forums for over a year to go on my new Bolt Action 308 hunting build. Thank you so much, Harry Ward and Sportsman Gun Centre!!!!

Bolt rifle advice

Well I’m getting back into a bolt gun. Been 14 years. I used to have TBA M40A1, traded it for a TBA M40A3, sold it for a AICS 1.5 built rifle. Sold it and have nothing anymore. Wish I would have kept them👍🏼

Anyways. The market is now flooded with various brands that are all tac drives. I’m looking at Bergara Precision Ridgeback, Sig Cross (version 1 or 2), Springfield 2020 Waypoint Ridgeline carbon, and Daniel Defense Delta 5. Looking at 308 for hunting deer and wild boars in flat as a pancake Texas. Will also entertain bench (prefer prone) hunting of paper and steel occasionally at ranges.

Any helpful input regarding the listed rifles would be appreciated. Especially by users of the models listed👍🏼

Reloading - cost of entry

Can’t seem to find a factory hunting load that my 300 prc likes. How much would it cost me to get into reloading (from scratch) instead? I have once-fired brass. Need everything else, including some variations of loads to see what works.

For those who want more info, I’ve tried hornady’s 3 variations of 300 prc. It shoots 1/2MOA with match ammo. Throws the other two varieties all over the place. I need something I can hunt with, so just shooting eld-m does me no good. Berger ammo might work, but I’m starting to wonder if I could just buy reloading supplies cheaper than backordered $80/box Bergers..

I don’t shoot competition, so I don’t need to mass-produce ammo. I do shoot enough to to be confident taking down an elk at 1000 yards. Might go through 100-200 rounds a year.

Anyone had shoulder surgery?

This would be full replacement, not rotator cuff. Looks like I'm facing it before long. I'm good about this stuff, will do all the PT, so questions.

-How was the pain level?...say compare to a hip which wasnt too bad?

-Recovery time? How long to drive?

-How about impact from recoil? Judging from my hip, if you do your PT, once its all healed you should be able to return. I'll like not go higher caliber than a 300PRC/WinMag

Robber Facing 7 Yrs, Man Who Stopped him? 3.5 Yrs

Welcome to justice in the Big Apple.

The face of somebody you would want falsely imprisoning your wife and demanding money?

Witnesses and police said the chaotic ordeal began when Matthew Roesch, a 49-year-old homeless man, held the emergency gate open for a 40-year-old woman at the Midtown station.

When she tried to walk through, he blocked her way and demanded money from her, according to court documents.

“If you don’t give me a dollar, I’m going to take your purse,” Roesch said, according to police.

She refused, and Roesch began screaming at her, the complaint said.

Cops said Rote warned the panhandler to leave the woman alone — and witnesses told officers that he then whipped out a gun and yelled, “Get away from her!,” sources said.

Swapping barrels between one action

I have a 6.5CM tikka that I really like. I've got dies/brass/bullets/powder for the 6.5CM and it's a good gun for the longest ranges I can shoot where I live, so I think I'd regret selling it all. I want to start shooting 6BR for PRS, but don't want to buy another action/barrel/scope etc. My barrel is a barrel nut system, so I was thinking of just getting a 6BR barrel and swapping it on my current rig. I'd mark the timing on the barrels to keep the headspace consistent for my brass. Is there any downside to this? Anything I'm not thinking of? I probably wouldn't swap back and forth a lot, but would like to have the option to. Would it cause weird uneven wear on my bolt lugs or the action?

SOLD SOLD Accuracy International AT308 & Tangent Theta TT315M Gen3XR

Hello members of the Hide!

I’d like to offer up for sale my 18’(small firing pin)AI AT308 for sale. The rifle has a total of 350 rounds of 308 through it and while it’s a rifle of exceptional quality, I find myself not shooting it as often as I had dreamt. I also would like to offer the scope that resides on the rifle, a Tangent Theta TT315M with the Gen3XR reticle. Both rifle and scope are in near new condition as I only shoot at an indoor range and haven’t put either through any form of rigorous use.

I’d like to sell the AT308 with the following accessories: Thumbhole grips as well as factory grips, keyslot bipod adapter and BT spigot mount and picatinny adapter, LOP spacers, and one 10rd magazine. *Trade Pending

I’d like to offer the TT315M with all factory accessories, killflash, manuals, scope caps, and original box for $2800 shipped.

I know this maybe a long shot but I may be interested in trading for a nicer Over/Under as well as have been looking for a Brownells BRN-605 complete rifle or upper receiver.
