Old surgeon got a face lift

Bought this action off the PX over 10 years ago, serial number 12, and decided it was time tochange it up a bit. I ended up with the E1HA and it had surgeon bottom metal with it so I sent everything off to Beanland to rebed since he was the one who built it originally.

This rifle absolutely hammers with factory FGMM 215s. They run right at 2850 out of the 22”

New York City sets up office to give migrants one-way tickets out of town

Hispanic immigration is by far the largest threat to this country and Sniper's Hide doesn't have a single thread on it in the first three pages of Bear Pit. I was in the Staten Island Ferry Terminal a few months ago and had to step over the Mexicans and their mongoloid children in sleeping bags on the floor.

They hate you and hate your country. Do not spend money at Hispanic-owned businesses. They have only been able to acquire citizenship with the passage of the 1965 Hart-Celler Amendment. Reverse this amendment and repatriate every one with due force.

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — New York City is intensifying efforts to transport migrants out of the city as its shelter system reaches capacity, setting up a dedicated office to provide asylum-seekers with free, one-way tickets to anywhere in the world.

City Hall confirmed the establishment of a new “reticketing center” in Manhattan as its latest bid to ease pressure on its shelters and finances following the arrival of more than 130,000 asylum-seekers since last year.

Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, has described the situation as a crisis and has begun to warn that shelters are so full that migrants will soon be forced onto the street as winter approaches.

“I cannot say this enough. You know, we are out of the room,” he told reporters this week. “And it’s not ‘if’ people will be sleeping on the streets, it’s when. We are at full capacity.”

US halts exports of most civilian firearms for 90 days

WASHINGTON, Oct 27 (Reuters) - The U.S. has stopped issuing export licenses for most civilian firearms and ammunition for 90 days for all non-governmental users, the Commerce Department said on Friday, citing national security and foreign policy interests.

The Commerce Department did not provide further details for the pause, which also includes shotguns and optical sights, but said an urgent review will assess the "risk of firearms being diverted to entities or activities that promote regional instability, violate human rights, or fuel criminal activities."

The Commerce Department declined to comment beyond the posting on its website.

The halt covers most of the guns and ammunition that could be purchased in a U.S. gun store, said Johanna Reeves, a lawyer who specializes in export controls and firearms with the law firm Reeves & Dola in Washington.

Reeves said she had not seen the Commerce Department take such a sweeping action like this before. "For sure they have individual country policies – but nothing like this," she said.

Export licences for Ukraine and Israel, as well as some other close allies, will be exempted from the temporary halt in exports.

U.S. companies that sell firearms, including Sturm Ruger & Co. (RGR.N), Smith & Wesson Brands (SWBI.O) and Vista Outdoor (VSTO.N), could be impacted by the export ban.

Overseas customers include distributors and stores that sell firearms.

Exporters can continue to submit license requests during the pause, but they will be "held without action" until the pause is lifted.

The pause does not affect previously issued export licenses, Commerce said.

For shipments to government clients, exporters must name specific end users, while applications with unnamed government, military, and police users will be "returned without action."

Who here knows window tints?

Hey all,

Do we have any window tint experts around here?

I keep hearing nano ceramic, only ceramic with no nano, etc. Can somebody tell me the differences and how many types of tints exist? I'm gonna start looking into tinting my corvette and want to know what to ask for.

I need UV protection on my windshield to prevent my leather dash from starting to unglue. And I don't need that same level protection all around if I can still get tint that only helps keep tempts inside lower. It's hot here in south texas.

US halts exports of most civilian firearms

A bit of an oxymoron. The "Commerce Department" is curtailing commerce. Perhaps it should be renamed to the "Anti-Commerce Department".

Vudoo 360 w/ Bartlein 1.20" Barrel for PRS Rimfire - Tuner or No?

If you were having a Vudoo 360 built out for PRS Rimfire and overall fun range gun. . . would you put an EC V2 Tuner on it or no and why?

I've never used a tuner before, but understand the theory of harmonics and trying to find a node. I've heard some say the barrel is too thick / heavy while others say there is still a benefit.

Zermatt Arms TL3 vs SR3 (Answered)

I'm looking to buy a Zermatt Arms action. I've been focused on TL3 as my intent is for precision f-class shooting.

However, there's an SR3 action for sale locally that's a good deal. My understanding is the SR3 is more for hunting versus precision shooting.

Looking for info on what I might miss out on by going with the SR3 instead of the TL3.
What capabilities would I not get with SR3?
Is there any expected accuracy difference between the TL3 and SR3?
Caliber is 308 Rem due to f-class match requirements. Any info would be most appreciated. Thanks
