Firearms TacOps Rifles For Sale: 338LM, 308 (SPF), 6.5CM (SPF)

Fellow Hiders! Like many of you, I'm a small business owner and it's time for me to free up a little capital by rightsize my safe a bit. I only get to shoot once or twice a month so I'm letting these beauties go, though I intend to keep one as no safe is complete without a Tac Ops. I am one of MikeR's biggest fans, and he builds incredible rifles. Mike's exacting standard for accuracy is why his rifles command the premiums they do.

Two of these rifles are unfired by me: the Tac70 338LM and the Delta 51 in 6.5CM. I acquired both during the pandemic and my attention was obviously focused on more pressing matters.

2. Echo 51 308 - My workhorse 1000-1200 rounds, normal wear for that round count - SPF to Bakwa

3. Tango 51 308 - Low round count 200-300, clean rifle and an elegant classic - off-market pending sales

4. Delta 51 Surgeon action, DBM in 6.5CM - SPF to Wm17

These shouldn't sit in my safe anymore and want at least two of them to find new homes. I'll entertain reasonable offers but no lowballs please. I have many more pics and will send those for serious inquiries. Scopes/bipods/suppressors not included, but will discuss those options with the buyers. Thanks for looking and feel free to text or DM for questions. 317-727-6472

My .308s at 300 yards

Well this section of the forums is as good as any because I will be eventually shooting both bolt and semi.

When I go to the range I like to have a “reason” and sometimes “just because it’s the range” is not enough.

My “reason” will be to shoot my .308s at 300 yards and see how they do.

Conditions will vary and it will probably take a year or more as infrequently as I shoot.

I will try to use same target if I have enough of them.

First shot cold bore.

Scope adjustments on second shot only and than shoot the 18 where they fall with no further adjustment and same point of aim.

Because my town is retarded I’ll start with this seen on my way to the range.

Endlessly going back and forth on rifle choice

Hey guys, I haven't been able to decide on a rifle and been browsing for months. Im looking for something in the$800-1500 price bracket. I keep looking used but with the prices being close to new Im also always thinking new. What Im after is a "do it all" gun that is light enough for hunting like the Sig Cross with a Vortex LHT on it but also a gun that I can throw some sand bags on to weight down and pursue my quest for 1000yds. (I dont do competitions). Admittedly most (90%+) of the shots would be range time.

I have looked primarily at a Tikka CTR and later throwing it in a stock (or buying used) but also at, TAC A1 (too heavy), Howa Hera H7 , Bergara 14 barreled action in a chassis of sorts... The list goes on.

I really don't know what I should be looking at and I know the purists say you cant have a gun that everything well but I figure if im willing to make concessions in certain areas like barrel length, weight, price I can make something come together.

Its too bad the Sig Cross doesnt come in a 20/24" barrel (Non PRS) otherwise I'd probably just buy that.

After endless threads of searching and my head in a thousand places, anyone got any pointers of what to get and also for my needs if I should be looking 20 or 24" and light or heavy barrel. Thx

RFK jr & SS protection

biden being his usual little piss ant denying it when it is rated. it,s a prog's childish actions again. RFK is playing,i think. he can afford his own, just screwing with biden. he is a smart guy and can see that it didn't do his father or uncle much good. if the plan for him is the same, and i believe that is on the table down the road, then his own private group would be best.

Operation <Needs a Name>

We sent over a million illegals back in the 50s.

This time we send 10M back. And then accelrate legal immigration.

Logistics? Discuss.

Cruise ships? 747s.

Manning and organization of sweeps? Targeting means? Rewards and bounties?

Priorities? Chicoms and Hamas. Anyone marching in Pallywood parades with visas.

What technical means can be used? I think private citizens could easily use commerciallly available databases and sting apps.

Does anyone here know about LED light dimmers?

We had some old florescent lights that we took down and replaced with LED light fixtures.

Everything is good. The lights are all installed and work great. We do however want to be able to dim them if we can.

The manufacturer says the lights require a 0-10v dimmer, which is easy enough to get and install.

The problem is there are four lights wired to a single switch. At 60 watts per fixture the total wattage per switch is 240 watts.

Some of the information online says the following:

"0-10V dimming doesn't worry about wattage, just that the load is compatible to the ballast/driver being used."

So in other words they are saying (if I understand correctly) that my search for a 0-10v 250+ watt switch is not actually needed.

With a regular light/switch/dimmer you have to make sure the wattage rating is enough, but apparently it's not the same for LED lights.

Hence I am trying to understand understand what I'm shopping for and which other criteria I need to look at.

Primer question from a reloading beginner

So I want to start by saying that I am just in the planning phase of reloading. I am still in the preparing and learning phase. Based on my observation, primer is still scarce nowadays. I saw some CCI small rifle 400 primer the other day and remembered that I read somewhere that it is just Okay and not ideal for PRS. My question is if I am just trying get familiar with the reloading process and aiming for sub MOA accuracy with 308 or 6.5 CM, is the CCI 400 an acceptable primer to begin with?

Thanks in advance!
