The FBI just came out and proved they are above the law

As they lied to Congress and then basically told them to ESAD.

Last week, FBI Director Christopher Wray told Oversight Chair Comer he would turn over subpoenaed documents Monday, today, that showed FJB took a $5M bribe from a foreign source when he was VP with the Obama administration.

Today, Wray then refused to hand over the document to Congress as agreed upon and instead said he would allow certain members of Congress to view the documents at an FBI facility behind closed doors. Thats not turning the documents over.

Comer to hold FBI Director Wray in contempt of Congress. FBI says 'Fuck you, we president dictator now.'

Enough of this sharade. If anyone questions whether the stolen election didn't result in a criminal regime taking over the government, compeletly impervious to the laws of the country, here's your answer.

Hello Darkness My Old Friend.

Never heard this story before. What a friend.

Heartwarming story - especially for Simon and Garfunkel lovers like me . . . . . “Hello darkness, my old friend…” Everybody knows the iconic Simon & Garfunkel song, but do you know the amazing story behind the first line of The Sounds of Silence?
It began 62 years ago, when Arthur “Art” Garfunkel, a Jewish kid from Queens, enrolled in Columbia University. During freshman orientation, Art met a student from Buffalo named Sandy Greenberg, and they immediately bonded over their shared passion for literature and music. Art and Sandy became roommates and best friends. With the idealism of youth, they promised to be there for each other no matter what.
Soon after starting college, Sandy was struck by tragedy. His vision became blurry and although doctors diagnosed it as temporary conjunctivitis, the problem grew worse. Finally after seeing a specialist, Sandy received the devastating news that severe glaucoma was destroying his optic nerves. The young man with such a bright future would soon be completely blind.
Sandy was devastated and fell into a deep depression. He gave up his dream of becoming a lawyer and moved back to Buffalo, where he worried about being a burden to his financially-struggling family. Consumed with shame and fear, Sandy cut off contact with his old friends, refusing to answer letters or return phone calls.
Then suddenly, to Sandy’s shock, his buddy Art showed up at the front door. He was not going to allow his best friend to give up on life, so he bought a ticket and flew up to Buffalo unannounced. Art convinced Sandy to give college another go, and promised that he would be right by his side to make sure he didn’t fall - literally or figuratively.
Art kept his promise, faithfully escorting Sandy around campus and effectively serving as his eyes. It was important to Art that even though Sandy had been plunged into a world of darkness, he should never feel alone. Art actually started calling himself “Darkness” to demonstrate his empathy with his friend. He’d say things like, “Darkness is going to read to you now.” Art organized his life around helping Sandy.
One day, Art was guiding Sandy through crowded Grand Central Station when he suddenly said he had to go and left his friend alone and petrified. Sandy stumbled, bumped into people, and fell, cutting a gash in his shin. After a couple of hellish hours, Sandy finally got on the right subway train. After exiting the station at 116th street, Sandy bumped into someone who quickly apologized - and Sandy immediately recognized Art’s voice! Turned out his trusty friend had followed him the whole way home, making sure he was safe and giving him the priceless gift of independence. Sandy later said, “That moment was the spark that caused me to live a completely different life, without fear, without doubt. For that I am tremendously grateful to my friend.”
Sandy graduated from Columbia and then earned graduate degrees at Harvard and Oxford. He married his high school sweetheart and became an extremely successful entrepreneur and philanthropist.
While at Oxford, Sandy got a call from Art. This time Art was the one who needed help. He’d formed a folk rock duo with his high school pal Paul Simon, and they desperately needed $400 to record their first album. Sandy and his wife Sue had literally $404 in their bank account, but without hesitation Sandy gave his old friend what he needed.
Art and Paul's first album was not a success, but one of the songs, The Sounds of Silence, became a #1 hit a year later. The opening line echoed the way Sandy always greeted Art. Simon & Garfunkel went on to become one of the most beloved musical acts in history.
The two Columbia graduates, each of whom has added so much to the world in his own way, are still best friends. Art Garfunkel said that when he became friends with Sandy, “my real life emerged. I became a better guy in my own eyes, and began to see who I was - somebody who gives to a friend.” Sandy describes himself as “the luckiest man in the world.”
Adapted from Sandy Greenberg’s memoir: “Hello Darkness, My Old Friend: How Daring Dreams and Unyielding Friendship Turned One Man’s Blindness into an Extraordinary Vision for Life."

Luxury Timepieces

Thread title is meant to sound pretentious.

What's up with the secondary market for expensive watches? It seems like half of the watches I've come across have a reference to "inaccurate timekeeping- service required" in the description. I'm looking in the $3500 to $7k range used.

My timex has never skipped a beat and never leaves my wrist. Is the whole luxury watch market a giant scam like designer sunglasses? My wife wants to get me a nice watch and I'm not feeling good about what I'm seeing. I mean... what kind of asshole pays $5k+ for a stainless bracelet that looks like it keeps time, but really doesn't?

What would we without these garage and selfless hero’s?

Human trafficking, drugs cartels and an out of control violent crime rate and this guy still has the balls and presence of mind to stop this obvious criminal/terrorist threat ! Uncommon valor , I mean half these kids are probably white nationalists why else would they want to sing the national anthem?
Little disappointed that they break any heads and then film themselves celebrating afterwards but I guess ya can’t have everything. Hope they cross reference all the names of this so called “choir “ to make sure none of them were involved in Jan 6th.

Rifle Scopes Zeroing a ZCO527 for ELR use

My new ZCO527 in MOA is mounted on my 375CT ELR rig which has a Picatinny rail of 55 MOA. The scope sits in a Sphur mount with 0 MOA.
Straight out of the box the elevation turret will go up from 0 (it is set at 0) to 117 MOA as per spec that being the max elevation on the scope. I shot the rifle at 100m with this setup expecting the point of impact to be sensibly higher than my point of aim but the shot was 10 moa below my point of aim .
Basically, this means that to zero my scope at 100 m I have to lose 10 moa on the turret and cancel out the 55MOA on the rail. How can I avoid losing all this elevation can I remove the turret and wind down the ZERO stop and reattach the turret as one does with NightForce and use the zero offset measurement as input in my ballistic calculator (my zero would then be at 800m for example)? I don't think this is possible as the scope elevation turret is already maxed out at 117MOA. Is this possible? is this scope unsuitable for ELR disciplines where one requires max elevation on the turret?

Taylor K.O. Factor

Does anyone put any credence in the Taylor K.O. factor Vs bullet Energy charts? The K.O. factor relieves heavy on bullet weight more than velocity. WxVxD/7000. I read one hand example is: Which be easier to stop. A train moving 50 mph with 10 cars or a train moving 30mph with 100 cars. Which has the most momentum. I know its a bad example. This has probably already been hammered on.

China Planting Fields of Stones - Why?

Yes, this is a long 17 minute video, but it’s worth the watch. In summary it shows and explains why this and many other measures are taken to fool environmental inspectors. Reason being that China’s pollution has gotten so bad in some areas that everything is barren and nothing will grow.

Summary is that China is attempting to put on a facade for the world to hide the fact that they are the number one polluter in the world, with polluting emissions greater than all of the other developed nations combined. They are literally polluting the world.

I realize that many of you roughly know this to be true, but seeing the extent is eye opening for sure.

Physical Fitness Don't Deny Yourself

the opportunity of a 1mile/5K walk/run event. I was fairly disgruntled my wife entered us into one to fuck up my Sat morning of usual ammo making and dispensing at LR. On the drive, I tried my best to convince her the only people who run are the ones without ammo...Until I stepped out the vehicle amidst/adorned with spandexed angels fallen from Heaven. (Some fell harder than others, but still bless their hearts!)

We did the walk. Thank God. It definitely allowed more observation of the angels. My wife is put together really good, but like a usual man, I like to look at other ones put together good as well. There was one I swear that brought me right back to the memories of the 1980s movie, "Weird Science". You couldn't order up a better one. Anyway, moving on.

You won't believe this. At the end was a physical therapy tent demonstrating stretching. They were asking people to participate for business development/new client recruiting. Yup, I stepped right up for some strange touch. Fuck me, I almost had to tap out when this little therapist put me into the stretching positions! The pain of that experience released endorphins that I can only imagine is like "The runners high" I wouldn't know, I'd have to run to find out if this were true. Oh, and imagine this, I got a female therapist and my wife a male therapist. I watched the male therapist man handle my wife and compliment how flexible she was as my eyes were bugging out my head and red faced in pain on the table over. I imagine this will be the closest I ever get to an S&M experience.

I suggest single dudes start going to these. Even if you aren't gifted by genetics, I could easily see a lonely chap playing the self improvement card and getting his balls drained at some point by a spandexed angel. Just FYI.

That is all, carry on!

Cheap,fast,clean,safe & perfect Annealing

Solary Magnetic Induction Heater... Login to view embedded media
Did 100 pieces of brass in 20 minutes! To heck with $1500 commercial inductive annealing machine. Bend the correct size element to where they are 90° instead of straight, Turn your lights down low where you can see the brass just start to turn orange and go to the next one. Takes about 4-5 seconds depending on brass thickness and length. DONT USE A CHEAP PLASTIC TRAY like in pic 😂

Ruger American-Just as good?

IMG_8448.jpg

Picked up a sub $500 Ruger American Ranch in 5.56. Using what I had on hand I added a Larue pic rail (due to its flat top side) so I could use an Atlas bipod.
IMG_8432.jpg

IMG_8431.jpg

This stock is stupidly light and flexible. Completely nose heavy, even before the added suppressor.
Under its own weight, with the added bipod, you can't pass a $100 bill between the barrel and stock. If the bipod is loaded it pases the $100 bill check.
IMG_8433.jpg

1st day I took it out I was only able to zero at 250 yards on a steel target with crappy 55gr ammo. It did well out to 500 with the same ammo.

The next day I took it out to properly sight it in at 100 yards.
After a sight in it impressed the eff out of me with 77gr ammo.

Scope is an Arken ELP 4-16.
Plus it makes that super cool 'zip zip' sound when the bolt is cycled.
How many of your custom actions make that sweet sweet sound?

JUST AS GOOD!

;)

3-18 scope recommendations

I am looking for a scope recommendation that meets the following requirements;
*roughly 3-18 mag
*Christmas tree reticle
*illuminated reticle
*under $4k
*reticle useful at low and high end
*good glass
*ffp
*mil/mrad reticle and turrets
*under 40 oz

This scope will go on a 6.5 bolt gun, hunting out to 400 and steel out to 1000. I’ve had a hard time finding a scope I like, please recommend others or tell me I’m wrong in my assumptions with the following;
*S&B 3-20 with gr2id reticle and DT II+ MTC LT / ST II ZC LT Turrets: love everything about this scope, but I can’t afford it
*Kahles 318i: Really like this scope… except for the reticles. The skmr3 tapers to much up towards the center dot, doesn’t look like a very useful tree. The tremor 3 reticle just seems way too busy for me.
*Steiner t6xi 3-18 with scr2 reticle: this is currently at the top of my list, but I have 2 reservations. I’ve heard complaints about the reticle being too narrow at lower magnifications. I have also heard there were problems with the t5xi line, mainly tracking.
*NF ATACR 4-16/20 with MIL-XT reticle: I really like the reticle but the push button illumination control is so stupid I can’t believe NF would even consider putting it out
*Leupold MK 5 3.6-18: I really like both the pr2 and h59 reticle but neither are illuminated in this scope
*Vortex Razor HD LHT 4.5-22: same push button illumination control as the NF scopes
*Vortex Razor gen II 4.5-27: it’s pert near 50 oz

Currently have a Ruger American Rimfire 22LR and a Savage MK II 22LR and a range that goes out to about 400 yds with steel plates every 50 yds. I usually shoot between 50 and 100 yds with the Ruger and Savage and mainly just at steel plates for fun, no serious groupings. I want to start shooting at the further plates and have a dilemma, with a budget. I want to shoot farther out and work on groupings at 100 yds. No real competition, maybe something informal with a buddy.

Right now I am leaning towards the Bergara B14R, probably a barreled action so I can throw it in a chassis, unless the factory stock will work for my goals, but what says the Hide?

Private Jet Crashed in VA after Fighter Jets Scrambled, Interesting Owner

So apparently a Cessna Citation deviated from flight plan and fighter jets scrambled. Plane crashed in rural Staunton VA. No info. on occupants but owner on board of NRA and was on Trump's 2A Coalition.

Public government records say the aircraft was owned by Encore Motors of Melbourne, which company records say Barbara Rumpel is president of. It is not known who was on the aircraft at the time, however.
A woman by the same name is also on the NRA board of directors for 2023 and served on Donald Trump’s 2nd Amendment Coalition – but it has not been confirmed they are the same person.
