Flown with various firearms dozens of times but can recall having the suppressor with me. I would assume either way is okay but I have the thought I’d rather my TB be with me.

There are some scuffs and handling marks from normal usage. There is an area that has been milled for a Surgeon 591 from the previous owner. There is some adhesive residue behind the tang area. Overall it is in solid shape. Not exactly sure what generation this is but I believe it is a GEN 6. Not 100% positive.

Front action screw captured under the forend. Rear action screw comes with it.

Put my tikka T3 lite into an oryx chassis in pursuit of a bit more accuracy as was getting a flyer every 3rd shot as the barrel heated but to no avail has anyone used the chassis before I torqued it to the specs given but with no joy any tips or help appreciated tia

I'm fairly open minded on caliber but was thinking of something with more performance than the .308 (but not looking for a 6.5 etc)
Im not recoil sensitive but I don't need to shoot a .416 LOL
My main hunting is deer but I plan on going for another bear hunt as well as perhaps moose or elk hunts hopefully in the future.
Im looking for that rifle that will be the go to for North America hunting when I want a more than .308. I want something on the lighter side but this isn't likely going to be a gun Id carry long distances (for that Id take a NULA)
I don't reload so Im looking for a somewhat common caliber.
I mostly hunt in Michigan (lots of woods).

But who do I go to? I have seen more than a few posts about TS Customs but who else?
Who are the top guys for hunting? If I was looking for a long distance sniper set up Id go to TacOps or GA Precision.
I don't mind waiting for the right builder as the right builders rifles tend to hold their value better than some others (at least in my experience with 1911s)

I will save that Aero Precision mount that it’s on in the picture. I don’t know the other brands of the mounts, but I know they are not anything high end. The Minox has a rattle can paint job, and so do the rings on the 6-24x50 Engage. All the scope levels and caps will remain as pictured (Minox only one without either). I also have a sun shade for the Bushnell Nitro, although it is not shown in the picture. Everything was purchased within the last five years with the exception of the Minox.
