This has been sitting in my closet for a few years. I've kept it around thinking I'd build something on it, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Stock has never been shot in competition nor taken hunting. It was skim bedded for a 700 5R and includes a Picatinny rail to attach a bipod.

I also bought a 1" Decelerator recoil pad to complement the 1/2" stock pad. Both are included as well as the stock spacer kit to increase/decrease LOP. BDL bottom and varmint/sendero contour but can be opened up to MTU/M40/Competition contour.

A woman was beheaded by a sword-wielding assailant on a residential street in the Silicon Valley town of San Carlos, California, on Thursday in front of horrified onlookers. The man was later arrested, with police receiving counseling.

A woman’s head was severed with a sword in San Carlos Thursday, authorities with knowledge of the investigation told NBC Bay Area’s Investigative Unit.
The suspect, who returned to the scene, was arrested in connection with the woman’s death, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect was later identified as Jose Landaeta Solano.
Deputies near the intersection of Laurel Street and Magnolia Avenue were flagged down at about 11:50 a.m. by witnesses who reported an assault in progress, the sheriff’s office said. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the woman dead.

Relatively new to rimfire and very new to CZ 457 aftermarket barrels.

This Lothar-Walther aftermarket barrel shoots better than my stock 16", no keyholes.
To prep for an upcoming match, I was going to cleaning my chamber and look for carbon ring, so I popped in my newly acquired bore scope.
To my surprise, it was hard to find any rifling, at least compared to the CZ, Ruger, and Kidd barrels.

For the more experienced, what am I looking at? Is this polygonal rifling, a manufacturer defect, or are the rifling worn out/damaged?
I've done very minimal cleaning initially, no copper or steel brush, just nylon brush and a few patches with Boretech Rimfire Blend down the barrel with an .17" Tipton rod and plastic eyelet.

Does anyone have experience with getting a custom barrel from them? I see they offer prefits for the RimX but unfortunately the off the shelf spec doesn’t exactly fit my wants.

Loading some Hornady 62gr spire point bullets and there is a ring dent about 40% of the way down the visible portion of the bullet. I have some bullets from an unknown company that are 62gr spire point also and they have a minuscule mark and no dent. Using Dillon dies. Does anyone have any suggestions? I see one popular video that touts a light sanding at the mouth of the die but have no idea how valid that idea is. The unknown bullets are .224" and the Hornady's are .223" Dents happen with sized neck no ream and with ream.

How bad can dents be before they effect accuracy?

Like new rattler, has 20 rounds through it to function test after installing the muzzle brake. Has been sitting in my safe and isn't getting shot anytime soon, so looking to move it along. Fully stock except for Dead Air Keymo brake and Geissele charging handle.
