If I could, I'd make a law banning the use of the following words from the gun forum discussion board community:

Operator (Only actual operators should ever use the word. Since they are kinda too busy to post on the internet, whenever I hear the word, I'm pretty sure I'm talking to a fanboy)

Tactical. Seriously. Just stop.

Bitchin'. What you call your GF is your business. Let's leave it there.

Zombie. Zombie ammo, targets, guns, etc etc is all just a stupid tax.

Sexy. (As in "That rifle is sexy." Seriously? Are you some kind of pervert?)

Sniper. It just doesn't help anything.

That's all for now. I'll add as I think of more.

I have a tactical sniper rifle that I shoot zombies with and its sexy and bitchin.

I think we should bring "bitchin" back. This thread is bitchin.

How about not allowing the media to use the word high power and assault in the same sentence?

What should we call tactical operators? I'm hoping you come up with a really sexy name. That would be bitchin'. Zombies should pays taxes like everyone else.

At least yer not an operator.

No sir I am not an operator. I am only a fanboy and I do use the words I phrased earlier. I don't say clip though that's bad really bad.

Anything with a skull on it. All that "No Fear" crap. "Bone Collector" decals, Black skull t - shirts, wearing unit gear when you weren't in a unit or even in the military, homage crap to look like one was in the military. Camo painting a rifle that sees nothing but range duty, Skulls. Airborne wings when there is no connection to the airborne, 101, 82nd or whatever. Rockers and "Ranger Up" decals when one doesn't even know what Ranger school is.

T shirts with a skull that says "kill em all and let God sort em out" - yea that was like cool in 1979 before Soldier of Fortune Mag got sued and changed. Freakin skulls on everything.

Clips (unless you're shooting a Garand)

Tactical in-front of EVERYTHING

Running (as what kind of gear are you running)

Hi Capacity (sorry, that would be standard capacity)

Anyone with any kind of decal/symbol of any of their gear or clothes that they either A. didn't earn B. didn't attend C. don't know WTF it even is/means D. using it in a retarded way. This even happens to us Germans; I've seen a few Gebirgsjager shirts/hats on Americans in/near the mountains. Sorry pal, its not what you think it means and it sure as shit wasn't earned because you took the bunny hill course.

I do agree that a few of those words have no business on this site, but what is it with you guys and the sniper word, Did you forget what website you are logged onto? I'm sorry, this is not to pick on you... I just see a lot of guys quick to jump on a new memeber if he drops the S-BOMB.... But the zombie shit I could do away with for sure!

^^^You got me on this one, I guess I too old, but what is "turrents"?

I need clip to load my Garand and to identify that slot milled into the receiver of my 03.

Besides its misuse is an instant identifier of the uninformed and dipshits.

Oh, yeah.....

Stick. In place of "rifle." (e..g. "Dude....nice stick ya got there." )

I'd like to apply a beatin' stick to anyone who calls a rifle a "stick."

Handy QRG....

My blood boiled for a moment, but hey this is a tactical precision rifle forum. Some do benchrest, some do tactical marksmen, others do long range hunting. i think rifles are sexy, and I think the same of trucks, and women. Im not a fan of the word bitchin. But If I have to call my self an operator. Well what the hell am I an operator of? my computer, tools, truck, rifle, x-box.. I operate alotta things..

Operator? Seriously? I have been an Operator for 26 years, and I will continue to refer to myself as one thank you very much. I did earn it, went to school, have the certification, highest attainable. I am a WWTP Operator. Lots of different kinds of Operators, although I see your point and many who refer to themselves as "Operators" are as loaded with shit as my profession :)

Want to skin your ignorance? Want to convince me you are nothing more than a knuckle dragger? All you have to utter is 3 short words "ALL DAY LONG" makes me want to vomit and pistol whip some goofy bastard.

As soon as someone types "What is the best..." their account should automatically be deleted and their IP banned forever.

I'll add....

Calling a rifle "she" in general.

I assure you, biologically, your rifle is an "it."

Calling "it" a "she" just makes you sound desperate for companionship.

Muzzle breaks

It doesn't damage anything, ie 'break', it stops something (recoil) ie 'BRAKE'

" Calling "it" a "she" just makes you sound desperate for companionship. "

What the hell is that supposed to mean? :D

It means people who call a rifle a "she" likely attempt conversations with "it" and other forms of female companionship. Long walks together on the beach, two straws in one drink, etc.....

Its just creepy, man... :)

Handy QRG...

The RIGHT way to do companionship....

Lauren004-1.jpg

Note: The one on the right is an actual "she" ...
