I wonder what he thought was going to happen.

Does it make me a bad man that I can't stop laughing at this kid's utter stupidity? Watched it four times in a row, with tears of laughter rolling down my face...
Hope he got off "easy" with just some missing eyebrows, and takes a different course in life than this video hints he might...

Dude, freaking Awesome! Just dusted off the 1200GS last week. :)

Now 8.5 months to go.... less if I get my thesis done sooner.

Already planning 2014 trip... Right now trying to scope out the possibility of going over to Europe again and riding the route of The Band of Brothers through Europe. It's a well-established route and very popular with fans of the miniseries. My GS Dakar is safe and sound with a friend in Germany right now. I want one more long ride over there before I ship it back home. Or to New Zealand. Because the price is about the same ;-)

2014 is the 70th anniversary of D-Day. Would be neat to start in Normandy on June 6...

Cheers,

Sirhr

Yeah the flight to NZ is what kills ya. But the dollar is good there. There is a really cool SH member who works down there for the movie industry in Wellington. My Father did a motorcycle tour of both islands and said heaven on earth. That said you can't go wrong in Europe, good food, nice looking ladies, the beer! Can't go wrong! So would you end your trip in the Eagles Nest :)

The Dakar is a great off road bike, little tall for me though I had one for a few years. Had to lower that bitch....

My last trip was Death Valley last year, freaking awesome. I would really like to do Argentina some day. Nothing like seeing a place on a a motorcycle.

Anyhow sorry for thread jacking. My bad.... Hey this might be motivation for somebody???

If you have time and a couple of K$$$:
[h=3]10 DAYS[/h]Victoria, Tasmania & NSW: Join in on a ride with the real life adventurer, Charley Boorman as he explores south eastern Australia

Tasmania and the High Country | Compass Expeditions

My friend Mark who has ridden in NZ said that Tasmania is THE place.

That said, while I love Charlie Boorman's bike travelogues, I can't get past his first movie role... cast by his own dad, the director of Deliverance. How cold is it that you cast your own kid as the Banjo retard?

That said, Long Way Down and Long Way Round are highly motivational when stuck in the snowbelt in Feb...

Cheers,

Sirhr

(PS Back on track in a moment. Sorry for temporary thread hijack.)

WTFFF! NO, thats not Charlie is it? I do know the Boorman cast him in Excalibur as the young Mordred.

Naaaa really!!! LOL

Anyhow that Tasmania thing looks awesome!

No. That was Billy Redden.

How about that... more digging and another urban legend bites the dust. Here's Boorman as Ed's Son at the early part of the movie:

Interesting because in one of the early episodes of The Long Way Down, they are giving Boorman grief for his role in Deliverance and made it sound like he was Banjo boy.

Learn something new every day! Thanks Okurok!

Cheers,

Sirhr

New meaning for the word, "towelhead"...

This is so California, my home state. Loaded with dumb fucks. I only wish we could have open season on some of these assholes who have been defying Darwinism.

My name is Toast. You can call me Sir Toast. I'm new to the hide. I can count to potato. Thanks.
