Re: Bell and Carlson stock question I have one and like it a great deal. I originally bought an HS Precision, but sold it because the palm swell didn't suit me. In my view, the B&C Light Tactical is every bit as good as the HS Precision, and it costs a bit less. Good luck

Re: remington question - which is best? If it were me, I would go with either the XCR or Sendero. I have the XCR, and I like it a lot. I'm sure I would like the Sendero as well. Both are stainless, and that's why I put it ahead of the police model.

Re: .223 Bolt Gun Build My SPS Tactical (with factory 1-9 barrel) shot best with .020 of jump with 52gr SMK. I've read that the SMK like the jump. I wouldn't worry about jump and running the same re-loads through an AR-15 and a bolt gun.

Re: New Hogue vs B&C Medallist vs HS Precision Before I got my AICS, I had an SPS Tactical in a B&C with a Bushnell 50mm objective scope. It worked just fine with Burris medium rings, no Karsten needed. So you might be fine with just the stock.

Re: .223 Bolt Gun Build I love my 22 inch Krieger #17 (Heavy Varmint) in 1-8 twist. I'm sure it won't stabilize the 90's but it works great for 69's and 77's. Hope this helps.
