    Hunting & Fishing My 2011 Oryx

    Got to get out with my boys and got lucky. One shot, 400 yards, dropped in her tracks. 7WSM, 175gn SMK. Bullet took out spine and lungs, bullet dia. entrance, 2" exit.

    Zia Tactical Match, Alb, NM

    Shot this match today for the first time. It was a ball. Very challenging and well run. We shot 11 stages from 100 to 750yds. Some prone, lots of positional. If you get a chance come out next month. 3rd sunday of each month.

    Has anyone run 243 ackley improved through a Badger M5 and AICS mags? Trying to decide between a standard 243 and the ackley. Wondering if I would have feed issues going with that caliber.

    Draw results came out today and I finally drew my once in a lifetime on Rhodes Canyon! Yahoo, now just gotta wait a year for the hunt hahahaha My son also drew a youth hunt on stallion range Will be eatin good this next year!

    Rifle Scopes Obvious or stupid?

    I have always questioned why they put the windage knob on the right side of the scope. If it was on the left side, we (right handed shooters) could see it without moving your head. Was this another conspiracy concocted by the left hand elitest??

    Fieldcraft New paint

    This is my 260 (match rifle). Put on a new scope, so had to paint it again. Looks a little plain in the pic's, but it actually blends well in the sunlight. All duracoat.

    Hunting & Fishing My sons coues deer buck

    Here is a great Coues deer buck. This buck was killed by my (step) son and unfortunately I was not there, as he was hunting with his father. It is a great buck and he was very excited. So was I, since I taught him to shoot and he made a great one shot kill at 150yds.

    Raton Sporting Rifles Match

    Shot the last match of the year and it was another good one. Huge thanks to Mike and all the other guys that volunteer to make this so much fun. This was a good year, with lots of shooters. Too bad there aren't anymore until next year, but the volunteers can enjoy a break. Looking forward to...
