So i have been prone shooting my LR308 pattern 6.5 creedmoor with an A2 buttstock. After 40 rounds my collar bone hurt so bad my accuracy was hurting. Anyone know of a new recoil pad that replaces the plastic cheese grater plate?
So I just got my SLR adjustable gas block working and that didn't solve my ejector swipes. So Im going to get a heaver buffer to delay the bolt opening. I have a LR308 DPMS pattern chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor using an A2 buttstock. I am currently using a DPMS LR308 buffer weight and spring...
I have been reloading for my semi-auto DPMS pattern AR, 24in Fulton Armory. when i need to pull a bullet, it takes 10 wood deforming strikes on the hammer. I am also having increasing ejector swipes. I am using the Hornady Custom Grade New Dimension 2-Die Set 6.5 Creedmoor and hornady brass...
I have a Vortex PST 4-16 FFP MRAD and i was wondering if i could tell how many feet, inches, meters my bullet dropped. my scope is zeroed at 100 yards. Example, i was shooting 1000 yards at 5,300 feet using a hold up of 7 mrads, how much bullet drop is that?
This past weekend I hit 1000 yards for the first time. I used my Fulton Armory 24in 6.5 creedmoor Large frame AR. I was firing 140Grn Amax with 41.5grns of H4350. It took 9 millrads up hold to hit a 1000 yard up hill target at 16 power. I gues the steel plate must have been a few feet wide.
So I have a chargemaster 1500 powder measure that works fine, but my press is a hornady LnL auto progressive. Is there some die I can use that will allow a funnel or something to be placed on the neck so I can dumb the charge in?
My friend has a Savage 110BA in 300 win mag. After fireing a round that poped the primer out, the bolt will not eject a round, fired or not. The ejecter does feel very soft comparied to my Large frame AR ejecter. Any thoughts?
So I have a Fulton Armory 6.5 creedmoor phantom upper and it shoots great. The upper doesnt have a shell deflecter because it is a side charger. So the shells come out at the 5:30 position, if the barrel is the 12 position, and fly a a good 6 feet. I am trying to save my brass for reloading...
The 140gr amax 6.5 creedmoore powder chard on the box says 41.9 grains on H4350. What if I load a 120gr amax to the 41.9grains insted of the recommended 44 grains? Will the bullet just be slower?
I have a Hornady lock and load auto progressive press with the powder drop system. The powder drop system worked fine for RL22 300WM. I emptied out the powder system and filled it with H4350 for 6.5 Creedmoore. The H4350 would not drop consistanly and every four drops it would drop a huge...
I have a Fulton Armory 6.5 creedmoore upper, which is a DPMS pattern. This was the first time out to the range for the gun. I had no failure to feed or failure to extract problems. I fired Hornady 140GR Amax retail ammo only. the problem i have is the extracter is engraving two parallel notches...
I saw the Fulton Armory side charging 6.5 creedmoor uppers and wondered if the side charging handle would affect the accuracy of the gun at all at 800+ yards? Would changing the weight distribution of the BCG have an affect? thanks
I like the DPMS smooth free float tubes, but does anyone know if there is a hole for a bipod/strap stud or it comes with it. here is a link to the product link
I want to get a 6.5 creedmore AR to shoot with my friends .300 Winchester Magnum. But no matter what pattern I choose, the rifle costs $3000+. Am I missing something or is it always going to be this way?
I want to get into long range shooting with my friend who has a 300WM savage. After looking around for a while I have picked a .308 AR-10 type rifle. Im thinking il learn how to use the gun in .308 then go to 6.5 creedmoor or .260 upper later. My budget is slim, but I found an...
