So I’ve got a Harris with Hawk Hill talon spikes on my AI AX and noticed the same thing, feet sometimes skipping across the concrete, I filed down the frame where the legs hit then painted it black. It gave the legs just a little cant and it’s enough to bite in a bit more... I’ve been running...
I’ve got one in a .243 featherweight I love it! Never seen another model 99F in a .243.. great guns, I’ve shot bear and deer with it and my oldest son took his firs buck last year with it!
So I just purchased a new magneto speed sporter and I have downloaded the app on my iPhone but can’t get them to sync. I know they sell the adapter kit but it looks like it’s just a mic cord, has anyone been able to pair up the 2 or is it necessary to buy the adapter kit?
I have a Rem 700 6 Creedmoor-I only bought a couple of 10 rounders to test them out and they seem to be working good - except occasionally one of them gets fidgety on the last round when trying to feed the machine. I believe I had to push up on the mag in order to pick it up
I have some Harris’, i like em if you file down the backside of the plate where the legs hit when extended you can get just a few degrees of cant to them which helps them not dance across the ground when shooting off concrete. I put the hawk hill talons on one and now it digs in great!
Then why even read into this thread ..? Just wondering? I actually bought my Ram brand new (I planned on keeping it for a long time and didn’t want to question someone else’s maintenance)and changed the oil when ever the display said which was around every 15,000 miles running amsoil which is...
Had a 2014 Outdoorsman with the Cummins, loved it- when it wasn’t in the shop... I’ve never had so many problems with a truck in my life, especially a brand new one! From the 3rd brake light leaking and filling the back seat full of water and growing mold everywhere to the Cummins motor leaking...
I’m up north in Sagle, I heard near Spokane the Mica peak shooting range has steel plates out to1000 yards but I haven’t checked it out yet. Also in Kellog the Shoshone county range you can shoot out to 600 I think. Both I believe are just a donation to shoot.
I give a vote for the Ruger Alaskan in a .454, I’ve had mine for about 10 years and don’t go hunting without it- weather I’m archery or rifle hunting. I feel with 1 well placed shot it would do its job at immobilizing a charging Bruin. If I have the chance to pull it out that is... I had a...
I have tons of old ( like 10 to 15 years old) Winchester brass that I use with my .300 win mag and it’s been great, I only hunt with it and probably only run 100 rounds a year through it. I also have a few hundred pieces of Nosler brass for it that I have been using more lately. I really like...
Great buck! The “tweaked” picture looks sweet too! I have hunted Idaho several times as non resident, we just moved here a few months ago and can’t wait till next year for my more affordable resident tags..!
Wow you guys have had some bad luck! This is another great reason I hike into places where I don’t usually see anyone else. I once about 15 years ago in Eastern Montana shot a real nice 4 point muley with my dad and someone came to the edge of a bluff and shouted out to us that we were...
