    Looking at shooting 50-60 grains in .22-250, my research tells me 1-10 is the way to go but the more I search the more confused I get. Any thoughts on this.

    Anyone ever rebarrel one of these. I take it from looking at them that its just a matter of removing the barrel extension and working it from there. Id be curious as to whether the extension is perhaps soldered in or shrink fitted.

    Gunsmithing NEW SIG SSG 3000 barrel

    Re: NEW SIG SSG 3000 barrel I did a few of these in the past by simply cutting off the barrel about 10mm forward of the front of the reciever I then incorporated the new barrel into the part that locks into the action. A good smith should handle this easily.
