I have a client wanting to build a 284 on a SA Rem 700. Is any one making a DBM with a longer mag for the SA 7000 any more? I checked with Seekins and they discontinued their WSM DBM. Thanks

Re: .260 Pros/Cons? In our area the 260 is second in poularity only to the 308 for tactical shooting. A great 1K cartridge! As far as a hunting round the 243 and 308 have a 30-40 year head start on the 260, so that might explain that end of the spectrum.

Re: 308 168 grain bthp vs 175 grain smk Just go to the 175s for everything. Save the 168s for short range days. I've seen plenty of 168s keyhole at 900 yards and pretty much 100% at 1K from a 308.

Re: Replace Sear Spring-Ruger 77 MRKII 30-06 A simple angle change, reduction of engagement and a lighter spring make these triggers outstanding. And good gunsmith should be able to do it. I've done hundreds of them. Any gunsmith not able to do probably isn't smart enought to be a real gunsmith.

Re: Extraction Issues, need some advice Sounds like not enough ejector throw. Try about .003" to .005" more travel on the ejector at a time. A little goes a long way.

Re: Got my Rifle Basix trigger today. Remington and Savage triggers are completly different designs. The RB Remington triggers work great, I've been using one for 1K competition for about five months now.
