Re: First Rimfire, caliber question I also say 22lr. Whats not to like with that one. What no one has mentioned is the 17 HMR is a necked down 22 magnum. To compare it to 22lr is apples and oranges. The only similarity is they are both rimfires. JMHO of course 44

Any idea what caused this? I got a faceful of hot gas. Factory FGGM in a Steyr SSG69 P1. Third to last shot in a 300 yard prone match. It threw me just out of the score ring to drop 10 points and finish last place. Checked the rifle all seems ok..

Re: 6.5-06 Thanks for all the input. I poured a chamber casting and it was an exact match of the book dimensions. I figured this guy was nuts when he rebarreled to this caliber but now I've heard from lots of folks, including one who shoots 1k with it. Really appreciate the help fellas 44

Re: CMP Kimber .22LR Anyone have one? I too bought one of the $150 rifles..it's a great shooter. They didnt come with sights but the 11mm grooved recvr takes leupold rings and a nice scope they make great informal BR guns. No matter what you get..remember..they are Kimber of Oregon...
