    Broke Trigger Shoe...

So I took my barreled out of my stock to do some work on the stock, and realized later on that somehow the trigger shoe had broken during the process. It's just an x mark pro, but I actually liked the feel of it. Are there any options for a replacement shoe other than going with the Jard kit or...

Help me decide 260 Rem or 7mm-08

I have a 260 1/8 twist Krieger a hair over 23", and it loves the 140's. I went with a mtu contour, which I would not go with if I had it to do over. I prefer something around a Remington varmint contour for match type shooting.

    New Paint - LR308 - Multicam

The guy worked on it probably 8-10 hours. I had it back in a week due to him having other projects going on. It was his first time working with duracoat and doing a camo pattern, so he said it wouldn't be so bad the next time.

    New Paint - LR308 - Multicam

Unfortunately, I could only dream of reaching your level of "coolness."

    New Paint - LR308 - Multicam

I got a local buddy of mine to spray a multicam pattern on my LR308 with the multicolor duracoat paint set. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. His airbrush work has been displayed in a couple custom motorcycle magazines. I had him add a metal mulisha skull on the cheek riser on the stock...

    My new practice barricade.

Really nice! Several grades above my particle board garbage. I thought about building a small trailer with different scenarios on it to pull to my shooting locations. They are all private farms, so I could just back up and start shooting.

Where are all the 18-24" 308 DPMS?

To be honest I have had the gun for a few years and never weighed it. I'm gonna guess ~15 lbs but I'm not sure. I put a rock river two stage trigger in it and have had good luck with it. Some people have had light primer strikes using them but I've not had one yet, but I don't shoot surplus...

Where are all the 18-24" 308 DPMS?

I really like my LR308b. It shoots around 1/2 moa with my loads. The only drawback with the b model is the upper receiver being an odd height, so finding a monolithic rail is pretty much impossible, if that's what you like. I put the PRS stock and JP 15.5" rail on it. I'm happy with it.

    RCBS Customer service! A+

I had a similar situation with a decapping rod. It was my own fault that it got bent, but they replaced it free of charge. Great customer service!

how to "tame" the recoil on a 300 win mag?

I have a 700p in 300wm and I use a Little Bastard. It did wonders for the gun. It really is amazing how tame the gun becomes with that brake.

Rifle Scopes swfa ss vs falcon menace

Which SS are you referring to? The fixed power line correct? I have several of the fixed power SS in 10x and 12x and really like them. I have the Falcon Menace in 5.5-25 and have not been too thrilled with it to be honest. The image appears very milky on any magnification over about the 15x...

My JP rifle groups at 200 yards

That's some very impressive shooting, and a nice stick! JP makes some nice stuff. I just put the 15.5" free float tube on my LR308 and love it!

    LR-308B Hanguard

Thanks for the heads up man. This is what I was looking for. I wasn't sure if they made such a thing or not, but I've been looking at other regular tubes if a monolithic wasn't a possibility.

    LR-308B Hanguard

After doing some research, I have found that DPMS has made their uppers in three different heights. The 308B model has the highest of the uppers, and I'm having a really hard time finding a forearm that will make the top rail monolithic. Handguards such as the Troy Battle comes in LP and HP...

help with extractor change in Rem 600

The extractor itself might be sticking out of the lip in the bolt enough to catch the brass. I had a brand new 700P 300WM that was doing this. I removed the old one and put a new one in really careful without flattening out the radius of the extractor. Check and see if the extractor will push...

Midway Federal Gold Medal Target 22lr In Stock

lol.. I know how hard it can be for some people to find 22lr of any kind, so I thought I'd pass it along. I asked the lady at Sportsman Warehouse in Lexington if they had been getting any in, and she said when they do there are usually 50-75 people waiting for them to open..... They open at 10...

    Savage LRPV

This is the same setup as mine, closed receiver, target trigger and so on. I'm pretty sure it's 9 twist. I'm local to the Bud's Gun Shop, and when I bought it a couple years ago, they were not sure if it was 7 or 9. I have yet to check it, but it does sling 75's pretty good.

    6.8 spc

The guy that bought it did not care. He was only interested in buying it to trade on. He was aware, but thanks for your consideration. lol.. You guys get all defensive over nothing. I was just stating the situation with a particular gun.

    6.8 spc

I had an early Doublestar SPCI, 20", and I shot the worst groups of my life with that thing. It would group about 10" at 100 yards. I shot SSA, Hornady 110 vmax, and my handloads using 110 vmax and nothing would shoot in that gun. Luckily, during this past gun rush, I had a good opportunity...
