picked up a Springfield TRP Operator today, in the second pic are 2 more of my 1911s, a springfield v-16 ported long slide, and a smith & wesson 1911pd commander with crimson trace grips

I wanted some opinions on the XDm 40 from springfield. Really like the look of the gun like the ballistics of the 40 s&w caliber. just not sure on the gun as it is polymer. I have read many threads on here and elswhere and what I have found is not much but mixed, most is on the on the XD model...

Where can I find a Springfield Armory M2 bipod for a M1A/M14? I have searched on here with no results.

I've owned since new a Springfield M1A NM, with a walnut stock and scope mount that I purchased in the early 80's. I put maybe 40 rounds thru it and have kept it in the safe since. What is this rifle worth? I'm thinking I might want to offer it on a partial trade for an SR-25. Thanks, Andy

Recently came across an older SA 1911A1, which was covered in heavy grease (for storage I believe) and very hard to operate but I cleaned it up and it looks to be in excellent shape. Anybody shot both? Any huge $1000 difference in feel and handling? I have the TRP and absolutely love it. The trigger is great and I can put groups together with relative ease. Just wondering how much better it could actually get. I know there are some different internals.
