You don't have to go broke to get it done. I just finished the pillar bedding and mounted the scope this morning. The barreled action is a 700 300 WM with a 24" Schneider barrel that I traded into years ago . Picked up everything else used , Manners C.F. EH1, Jewell trigger, SWFA 10x , Triad stock pack and knock off bipod . I've got about $1500 into it including having SAC thread the barrel and Ceracoat.
The barreled action is well proven in a chassis with an ATACR , we'll what happens with this setup.
