I asked a similar question a few years back. Back then BA and Rainier were still loved by all of us, and Rainier is along the lines of what I'm seeking which is a one stop shop for all (most) things AR related. Is there a place that'll sell you an awesome BCG, well-fitted receiver set, decent barrel, stocks, sights etc. at a decent price? Asking because lots of places have great prices but the shipping adds up when you have to source parts from six or seven places.

Brownells comes to mind, but they try to cover so many bases.

I got my KGM R6 paperwork back today and was able to bring it home. I weigh all of my suppressors new so I can track carbon build up. The R6 is advertised at 7.9oz with the direct thread mount. Mine weighed over 10oz.

Anyone else seen this? I called KGM and spoke to Beau and he literally said he doesn't know, doesn't have an answer as to why it would be over 2oz heavier, and offered no solutions. A few tenths of an ounce or even .5 oz might seem reasonable but if this is common over 2 oz seems like blatant false advertising for a suppressor that's titanium.

What are you doing with your rifle when you arrive to the hunting area 3-4 days before the season? When you’re away from your vehicle and out scouting, whether it be glassing or boots on the ground. Do you carry your rifle with you at all times, or hope and pray while they are stored in the vehicle? Assuming you don’t need it for protection.

So this past weekend the Mrs and I were scheduled to go to the OBX for a weekend of food and drink and beaching. TS Ophelia was heading up the coast and ALL the news organizations predicted mayhem. Massive flooding, power out for weeks, no drinkable water, floods not seen since the time of Noah.

Reality check…..drove to the OBX on Fri. Rain on the way down from Va. Arrived around 3 PM. Little wind and rain. Folks doing their thing. Restaurants PACKED. NOBODY gave two about Opfeelia. No flooding, no power outage, no carnage. Oh! Guess what….no fucking news people anywhere either besides their home studios at CNN and weather channel telling how the world as we know it was about to end!

Hmmmm….suppose this translates to COVID outbreak in the recent headlines?

Best I go get my booster before power goes out, rivers flood, no food in the stores, gas out of tanks, medicine not available, banks close, birds can’t fly…..
