Looking around and I really don't see many threads on the Tract optical qualities, anyone have one of these and care to elaborate on the glass, any comparisons? Of course the manufacture sings the highest praises about their sourced SCHOTT glass, but it's always better to get real world feedback.

1) Gen 3 G19 Frame: I had this sent to Battlecock Tactical for the stippling. Amongst the best in the business when deciding to waste money on a Glock. It has OEM internals, with a trigger shoe from Tyrant CNC. I put about 15-20 rounds through the slide that was on it, and it has been sitting ever since. Looking for $650 shipped. I can add a stripped slide if interested, but add another $150.

2)***SOLD*** Altus branded Defiance Deviant Tactical Medium Action. All other info is in the pictures and many of you will know more about it than myself. I purchased this in 2021 with the intention of piecing together my first custom bolt gun, but it has just sat in the safe ever since (never installed, never had a barrel mounted, etc). ***SOLD***

3) LMT MRP Upper Receiver: 11.5" barrel, EBCG, Magpul Mbus Pro sights, Radian Raptor charging handle, Railscales Karve, Railscales grip panels, and a Lantac Dragon Keymo brake. The speed bumps were filed down to fit my LMT lower, but it doesn't affect fit or function. I have verified fit on other lowers (DD, SOLGW, Aero) without issue. The BCG has seen about 300-350 rounds, and the rest of it has seen at best 150 rounds. Expect light "salt" due to being in the safe with the others. Looking for $1450 shipped. **Please note: the Modlite does NOT come with the upper.**

Consensus is bedding a chassis can only help, if it’s a quality job.

So if bedding a action is “better” then binding must be a +1.

If you don’t plan on removing the barreled action anytime soon or ever has anyone bonded the action?

I know some series do not allow bonded actions and some serious BR rigs are bonded so there is a benefit to be had.

This might be a post better geared toward English majors Maybe it's my ADHD or maybe it's my Type A personality (or both), but pronunciations is something I get hung up on, if I'm pronouncing someones name wrong I want to get it right so I usually ask, but sometimes we hear something and realize, ooops, I've been saying that wrong for a while... so with this thread I will try to keep a running link of industry terms and names and you all can help me out.

1. Hornady - I've always thought it was Horn-uh-Dee but I hear so many guys saying Horn-uh-Day... which one is it?
2. Heckler and Koch - this one I know, I used to think Koch was pronounced like it looks - Kahch, but it's actually pronounced "Coke"
3. Kahles - Used to think this was Kay-less but it's actually pronounced Call-Us
4. Ogive - used to think this was pronounced how it looks - Oh-Give (with a strong I) but it's actually pronounced Oh-Jive
5. Leupold - still hear a lot of guys say Lee-Uh-Pold but as far as I know it is Loo-Pold

There's many more, but that's a good place to start, so let me know what you've run across. The hardest ones are obviously going to be the names of companies or products from foreign countries as much gets lost in translation, heck, half the people I meet mess up my last name and it's pretty easy (for me anyway ). Don't even get me started with some Gen Xer's first names, as a product of parents from the drug induced trances of the 60's and 70's we get names like Aleeyshya but still pronounced like Alicia, okay, let's not go down that rabbit hole

If people find out this is fun, and like the heavy girl in the story moves them forward in how they win or loose, THIS IS THE KEY TO THE STORY IMHO. She blew one round then aced the next round. Selling my CZ 455 Varmint. Currently has a walther 17hmr barrel on it. Shoots great with Hornady and CCI 17gr. It has the yo Dave trigger kit installed. Comes with the original CZ 22lr barrel and 2 (22lr) mags. Also have some parts for it including the Yo Dave kit and some extra barrel shims. Can include a set of Warne rings if you need them. Have 30mm high, 1in high, and 1in low. Scope is also available for extra (viper gen2 5-25 FFP moa).

I have read numerous articles, numerous forum conversations and watched some videos and it just gets worse. It's like I'm dealing with a foreign language.
