Firearms Sig Rattler FS/FT for scope

FS or trade,

Sig Rattler, I bought it on a wim a few years back and have shot maybe 100 rounds of subsonic S&B ammo through suppressed with my SiCO Omega on it.

It has just been hanging in my safe. Looking to sell it so I can buy another scope for a shortish 6.5 Creedmoor project I am working on. Aimpoint PRO not included.

$1900.00 shipped OBO

Or trade for a 5-25, 4-16x50mm ATACR or similar preferably in Mil-C, 624 Kahles, Hen 3 Razor with cash on my end, possibly a Gen 2 Razor...

I will consider other scopes with possible money on my or the other person's end depending on deal.

A good friend of mine down in North Carolina got into gun smithing maybe 10 years or so ago. I gave it some time to see how it would go, see some of his work, and see if he'd be really good. As it turns out he has become quite the pistol smith. I'm proud of some of the work I've seen him turn out.
I have an old Rock Island double stack 40 cal that I finally let him do some work on. He fit it and Cerekoted it. I haven't picked it up yet but he sent me these pictures. I think it looks pretty good. I'll give an update once I get it in my hands.
The name of his shop is Brock's Custom Gun Works.
If any of you guys are interested in having some work done or have been looking for a good pistol smith, I'll get all his information and post it here. Let me know.

Might be losing it? This ever happen to you?

The wind was favourable for a few hours on Friday am and I went to the range before the wind started to howl.

After I shot the Vudoo, I went to shooting the Kidd 10/22. For the Kidd, first I shot the Eley Match as it was pretty consistent, so at the cease fire I went downrange to the 50 yard targets and marked the lot of Eley Match and checked out the groupings more closely, and returned to the bench. Next I shot the Eley SA BR at 50 yards out of the Kidd.

Through my scope I could clearly see that the ELEY SA BR shot better than the Eley Match and decided right there to move all my gear down to the 100 yard range. So I left my target up at 50 yards and arranged all my stuff to prepare shoot at 100. At the cease fire I set up a target at 100 and took down my 50 yard Vudoo and Kidd targets.

At 100 yards I averaged .75" on five 5 shot groups. The SD's on 50 shots was 5.8 with a spread of 25 fps. So I decided I would use the Kidd in an upcoming Rimire PRS event planned this weekend.

Well here is the dilemma... after getting home and measuring the groups, either one of two things happened:
1. I am losing it and getting to old and seeing things that aren't real?

OR

2. Someone shot at my target after I left the 50 yard shooting spots? Note there was someone sitting and shooting .22 in the lane right next to me the whole time I was shooting at 50 yards. It seems odd to me that someone would shoot at my target. In additon to a massive flyer, that I swear wasn't there before I left the shooting spot, it appears that one of my groups has 6 or 7 shots in it as well.

Now I an second guessing using the KIDD at the upcoming rimfire event - as the one bizarre shot is close to 1/2" from my group.

SO
Have you ever had anyone shoot at your target at the range? Or ought I lay off the weed? (j/k)

Any Pest Control Gurus here?

Question on egg sacs, not so much species. Have Southern black widows and wolfies in my garage. Have egg sacs I can't reach with vacuum - how long do I have before they hatch? Is Isoropyl alcohol the same thing as Web-out (if so 70% or 91%) or should I go straight to Talstar for egg-sacs? What's the best option short of exterminator or flame thrower? I had a lizard keeping them under control but he hitched a ride on my car and flew off at 60.

Bud Light Boycott Bludgeons Busch

AB is finally getting the message. Know your customers and cater to them. Don’t try to fundamentally change them or you’ll regret it.

The downward spiral of Anheuser-Busch continues as the company hits a new low.

Bud Light’s parent company has agreed to sell eight of its craft beer brands to Tilray Brands. This will cut down the company’s craft beer portfolio.

In exchange for $85 million, a Canadian cannabis company named “Tilray” will purchase Brewery, Blue Point Brewing Company, 10 Barrel Brewing Company, Redhook Brewery, Widmer Brothers Brewing, Square Mile Cider Company and Hiball Energy. The deal is expected to be finalized in September 2023 per Tilray 8-K filing.

Anheuser-Busch isn’t simply selling the brands, but also the brands’ employees, breweries, and associated brewpubs.

Anheuser-Busch also announced it has begun significant layoffs following the nationwide backlash and boycotts against the company. The beer company has laid off roughly 350 employees. It’s unclear if more layoffs are incoming as company sales have tanked. So far, Anheuser-Busch has reportedly fired 2% of its U.S. workforce, primarily in corporate and marketing roles.

In April 2023, Bud Light sponsored transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney by celebrating Mulvaney’s one-year anniversary of “womanhood.” Bud Light produced beer cans to honor Mulvaney’s transition from male to female.

However, it appears that former Bud Light employees are finding work at self-described “Pro-American” companies.

“Public Sq. and RedBalloon are the two organizations swooping in to scoop off recently laid off Anheuser-Busch workers, of which there were many,” the report found.

Bud Light also fired its marketing vice president, Alissa Heinerscheid, following the disaster with Mulvaney. A video surfaced of Heinerscheid criticizing the brand’s consumer base as “fratty” and “out of touch humor.” (Trending: FBI Caught Lying For Hunter Biden)

“We had this hangover, I mean Bud Light had been kind of a brand of fratty, kind of out of touch humor, and it was really important that we had another approach,” she said in the video. The company has reportedly lost billions of dollars as the stock price has dropped more than 12% since partnering with Mulvaney.

“These corporate structure changes will enable our teams to focus on what we do best—brewing great beer for everyone,” he said in a statement.

Political commentator David Hookstead responded, “Turns out, people really don’t appreciate a beer brand doing ad deals with a person whose shtick seems to be mocking women and behaving like a child. Whoever could have seen that coming?”

Bud Light was once the best-selling beer in the U.S. and it has fallen from its position as one of the country’s top 10 most popular beers. According to a YouGov survey, Bud Light was previously the ninth most popular beer in America. Now it’s fallen out of the coveted top ten. Bud Light has been surpassed by other brands, such as Pabst Blue Ribbon, Miller Genuine Draft, and Miller Lite.

Proof Prefit 6.5 Barrel

What kind of experience are you guys having with Proof prefit barrels. This is a 6.5 creed on an impact 737. Shot (6) 5 shot groups with it the other day and pictured is the result I got. This was the first rounds through the barrel but still was less than optimal. I dont want this to turn into a bashing session for proof research but maybe I have another issue. I use an area 419 brake that I plan to remove and try shooting a group just to make sure its not causing anything weird. Scope/ chassis everything torqued to spec. The high right group was shot with a magneto speed on which looked promising but still threw one way out. Ammo used is factory hornady 140 eldm and I got an SD of 3 with a 5 shot group. Any advice before I reach out to proof?

45 year old looses his job for doing a 16 year old. But not for what you think.

Only because he was doing it on the clock. Smoke breaks cost company money. Shitting on the clock costs company money. Looks like doing a 16 year old is good to go in Albuquerque but not while you are supposed to be on patrol. He's a forty percenter too. Likes to hit the girls.

Judge issues warrant that violates federal law

If city or state officials want records or sources from journalists they are to subpoena the information- then go before a judge and have a hearing as why the records or sources are needed/wanted and the other party explains why they need to keep sources/materials confidential. I’m a crayon eating varmint hunting Marine and I know that .

But anyhow the good news - a local resident and large political supporter in this rural county didn’t want anymore bad press about him so he asked a sheriff to get a warrant and seize any materials they had on him. The judge signed the warrant- but local police refused to serve a blatantly illegal warrant! YEAY ! O no wait it says later in the story all 7 members of county law enforcement participated in raids on a news paper office and individual homes . Well at least they were in solidarity!
