Can I get your opinion/advice on the best SFP MVPO? Simple Mil reticle.

I don't "think" I'm doing anything wrong, but I can't seem to set the zero stop on my Burris XTR III 3.3-18x50 scope to anything but 0. After the scope is zeroed at 50 yards, I wanted to set the zero stop to go .5 mils past zero so I could dial down for shots as close as 25 yards. It seems that I only have the option of setting it to 0, and nothing else. Is that right? I also like the idea of dialing down past zero, then coming up to zero, so I'm always dialing up to a setting.

Can someone please confirm if I'm doing something wrong? WTF?

I bought this rifle a few months ago for my wife to shoot, but I have since changed my mind and will instead be getting my wife a rifle in 22lr.

The fellow I bought it from was an engineer at JPL who was moving out of state. He said he did not have the time to shoot the rifle and it only had about 200 rounds through it. I have never fired the rifle, but it looks like new to me.

The fellow I got the rifle from sent the trigger to Zermatt for it to be timed with the action. As a result, the bolt lift is very smooth and light.

I don't have any 308 ARs and I have been wanting one. But I cannot find a single rail that I like.

The build will be a Windham Weaponry AR 308 (DPMS high I believe) and I already have the lower and upper.

All I want is a nice traditional 15 inch Mlok or picatinny. It seems any I find are some that look like chain length or dumb angles.

He's butthurt a company thats under the ATF spotlight like all gun manufacturers doesn't want to be associated with a felon. I know ATF sucks ass but Vickers wasn't set up or trapped, he got greedy and did something really stupid and arrogant.

So now he's on FB trashing Bill Wilson. What would he do if the tables were turned?

In researching SRP, I came across the old repeated warning about AR platforms needing thicker cupped primers to thwart the dreaded slam fire potentiality. Is there even one documented/verified instance of a slam fire happening in an AR because of the use of regular SRP?

I think about how many millions of .223 factory rounds (Not 5.56 NATO with thick/hard primers) have been fired through AR15s in the last 30yrs. Nobody ever says you can't shoot .223 ammo in an AR15. However, when the question directed at hand loading, it's "OMFG, better use those #41s or you'll blow your face off!" Also to consider is the service rifle competition shooters. They aren't all using #41 primers, are they?

Is there a tool made to remove or change the hammer spring easier?? I know the old strut in the vise, use a fork deal. But I thought I'd heard about someone making one sometime ago. It had a base, a small tube you put the strut in,it had a lever that you pushed down on. It compressed the spring,pulled pin out, let up on the lever, changed spring and reversed procedure . It was homemade, not a production item, but it was so neat.

Surely this is not what you would expect an Anschutz 54 Match rifle to look like, but my ambition had always been to turn my vintage (1976 dated) .22 LR German girl into some kind of tactical-looking monster.

She does shoot straight but my impression is that she could do better still with some added weight at the muzzle, to make up for the loss of metal when she was threaded and for the missing front sight, all of which seem to have had some negative influence on her accuracy. I suppose some kind or brake or tuner would do the trick, provided I can adjust it a tad bit more forward or backward in order to get the perfect harmonics.

The suppressor, which was custom made, doesn't seem to work correctly, as it moves my shots completely off target when it is on.
