This is a borescope vid I shot of one of my AR barrels. The barrel is 16” in length, has a 5.56 chamber, 1-7 twist, and is chrome lined. It has ~150 rds through it. This is a factory upper from a reputable manufacturer. I’d just like some opinions on the current state of the chamber and rifling based on the low round count (150 rds). I’m not having any issues whatsoever with the rifle.

I’m not sure if it’s even possible to justify why a department which in the past has been exclusively a agency that deals with regulatory issues would need this many firearms, it’s fairly obvious the government intends to arm itself in every instance while disarming it’s citizens. Rather ironic considering the mantra “you don’t need a ar”, but evidently people that have no official government use for them do.

Since @wade2big seems to think that our form of government is oppressive and tyrannical but never seems to put forth a coherent vision of what an acceptable form of governance is, this thread is an open invitation for him to describe/design what kind of government would be acceptable to him.

Found a tacops Delta 51 rifle that I’m extremely interested in. It’s chambered in 6.5cm and has a 20” barrel. My gun range is 600m and I will be running a 9” suppressor at all times. What am I giving up with the 20” barrel, over a 24/26? Is a couple hundred fps worth being concerned over at 600m?

I have the first scope listed below on a 1-4 month backorder and have been offered the second one as a ship-now option for the same price. I've not owned either and have only briefly handled the second one in a shop, not mounted to a rifle.

I am looking for input from people that have actually used a Nightforce NX8 1-8x24mm &/or a Vortex Razor HD Gen III 1-10x24mm w/ 34mm tube. I do prefer the FC-DMx Reticle specs/images but have not handled one.

Like the title says. I have 60 rounds new in box. I think I bought these in anticipation of chambering a 6.5 barrel but never got to it. Doing a bit of spring cleaning if you will.

Every set is custom designed for each setup. Every top plate, riser (round part), and cup guide is SPECIFIC to the version (V2/V3 or V4) and cup you are using (glass vs. 419).

Some of these took a LOT of time to create. Others took a lot of filament to create. It all comes out in the wash, so I'm keeping the price the same across the board for simplicity's sake: $30/set.

All sets are available in white only. The color matched filament I was using before is unobtanium right now unfortunately.

I ask for up to two weeks time to ship each set. If it gets worse than that, I'll let you know when I send PP info. Some sets I may have ready to ship immediately. This will be a fluid process; please be patient and I'll be sure everyone gets what they want.

The V2 and V3 setups are essentially identical, so you can use a V3 set for the V2 AutoTrickler.

Sent this in to Vortex for updated turrets, just like most people end up doing. Turrets are awesome now. They were a bit mushy and the locks were a bit too easy to manipulate.

Building a new 6br and was thinking about trying some new dies. I've been running Redding bushing type S sizers and Redding or Forster micrometer seaters for about 25 years on every caliber I own. They have produced some very accurate ammo over the years and as with everything, technology evolves. Really my only big complaint is its hard to see the lines on the Redding seater to adjust seating depth but thats really my only gripe. I also wish Redding used the same lock ring as Forster since I'm running Forster Coax presses!

I haven't bought dies yet for my new caliber and was wondering if there's something new thats a better mousetrap than what I've ran, thanks in advance.

The Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training Center (ALERRT) at Texas State University released a report revealing more information about the law enforcement response to the Robb Elementary School Shooting. The 24-page document, “Robb Elementary School Attack Response Assessment and Recommendations,” lays blame squarely on local law enforcement with little to no mention of other agencies responding to the scene.

A Uvalde PD officer reported that he was at the crash site and observed the suspect carrying a rifle prior to the suspect entering the west hall exterior door. The UPD officer was armed with a rifle and sighted in to shoot the attacker; however, he asked his supervisor for permission to shoot. The UPD officer did not hear a response and turned to get confirmation from his supervisor. When he turned back to address the suspect, the suspect had already entered the west hall exterior door at 11:33:00.
